Maybe you didn't detect the slight sarcasm in my post. The last sentence of that post should have made it fairly clear.
Wouldn't say like a five year old, but he's not able to follow the pace LDs setting. Incredible accuracy... And great defense if he wants to
Haha, LD blocks over a netkill by Hu Yun. Faulted by the umpire - although I can't see where LD hindered HY's swing oO
LD probably have it planned down to the number of points each person is going get in his matches. he just having fun to see if he can end the match at exactly what he planned.
Lin Dan probably got paid a million bucks to give away the 2nd set so some betting freak could earn millions more.
Lin Dan is taking this tourney as a holiday;probably more concern about his shopping list for wife, mother ,mother-in-law.
Now he's giving away a truckload of free points to Hu Yun... Hu Yun must be flaming mad with the disrespect that Lin Dan showed him...
Seems like he is hellbent on saving as much energy as possible. Winning by small margins, and not moving at all in the 2nd game....although I have to admit, he pretty good at controlling the pace. Although Hu Yun sometimes got the jump on him when he set it too low.
Yeah, I would be. Anyone else notice how in the 2nd game, when HY scored a point, LD would always put the shuttle on the wrong side of the court? Seems like he's all about the mind games now
My hero Lin Dan won, so what. Tomorrow, he and buddy CJ will have to go through the motion and stage another not-so-convincing act..., you know what I mean.
LD like to give his opponent a little glimmer of hope... and then, at the very last minute, cruelly snatch them away. MUAHAHAHAHA... (evil laugh) Just joking, not really, I like to think that this is LD way of mental preparation. How to play catch up when one is down. It will be very useful against stronger opponent later in the tournament.
Yeah, tantalised him by letting him come close to 19-18 in the rubber, then suddenly finishing him off. What to do?
