6) He has beaten CJ b4 so no big deal.
I think people got mistaken that by Gong WeiJie in China open 2004..hcpoirot said:I wonder when and where TH play against CJ before China Open 2006?
According to BWF site, this is their first meeting.
is diving like a seal good thing or a bad thing? LOLcooler said:One other thing i notice that the new generaton players have that TH DOESN'T HAVE......diving skill. LD, CJ,BCL, LCW, CH, all have it but TH dive like a seal, flat on his stomach and can't get up. Yes, Th can retrieve side smashes if he is on his 2 feet but when he dive for the wider smashes, he dives like a seal. I saw the same dive of TH back in 2002?? playing XZX, no change.
it's a good thing if badminton is play underwaterSimp84 said:is diving like a seal good thing or a bad thing? LOL![]()

..hmm, IMO, i think his "spirit" was still there and he "tried to fight"/compete, but like a saying goes : "The mind is willing, but the body is weak"...which points to??....I think that's simply what he was up against..Robbo77 said:I have enjoyed watching Taufik, but seeing him lose the way he did at the Japan Open was very disappointing. Whether he lost his stamina, lost his concentration, lost his mental stability, he had no care about the fans watching the match at all.
Sure his ego took a bruising that Lin Dan has beaten him again, but that was no way to lose the last set by giving up so obviously. The first 2 sets were great to watch and he should have showed some spirit and fought to the end whether or not he had the energy to rally with Lin Dan or not.
I wish Xia Xuanze was back as no.1 - all these new players are arrogant, immature, have no obligation to the fans and basically play in their own little world. They need to learn sportsmanship and humility to deserve our respect, or in badminton history they will be remembered as players with talent but no personality or charisma.
..this is a good one....and i clicked on that site too...hahaDarth Andrianus said:Let's just set up a special website (www.whytaufiklost.com) and then you can say all you want over there.
hehe, it's just an "acronym"/abbreviation and there should be a question mark @ the end...and you can look up on the thread's topic heading(should give you some clues)...weeyet said:May i know what does "WTL" stand for......
virusvoodoo said:Where is Indra again? I like to hear his lame excuses for why Taufik Hidayat lost!
He went into hiding last time when Taufik lost in the World Championships to Chen Hong.
Taufik cannot go on and face reality without lame excuses from fans like you.![]()
cooler said:cctv5 didnt show badminton last nite and i didnt watch it. From my guess, WTL is because CJ is a better all around player, he beat TH the old fashion way...hard work. TH reliance on tight nets and deception are too well known to all MS players now, TH opponents have adapted and change. One also has to take into account CJ is still improving, while TH had already peaked. TH is now trying to recapture his old peak.
This outcome point to many other things as else. One of that is, if this baby LD, i mean CJ, can beat TH, it goes to show HOW GOOD THE REAL LIN DAN really is. So LD beating TH at JO is no fluke. By 2008, CJ would as good as LD in his own way.
