Quite unexpected that 3 teams: Suryanaga, Tangkas and Djarum ended up with 2 losses each, while Jaya Raya also lost to Djarum. Incidentally, Jaya Raya will face Djarum yet again in the semi-final  An upset possible perhaps?

Here are pictures of Maria Kristin. She's not a top world-beater, but hey, she's the best INA got at the moment... :p

I think best combination of Djarum pair is Sigit/Luluk. First title of Luluk in International tournament when he paired with Sigit.

If Djarum want to get 1 point from MD, they should play Sigit/Luluk as 2nd double (they have to choose Fran/Rian as 1st Double, Rian has higher rank than Luluk and Sigit and Fran are same).

Logical. Or... a better alternative than Fran-Rian as 1st doubles is Yoke-Rian... They are the new Djarum pair who will debut in the Thailand Open next week...

yes, it's better choice (I thaught that Yoke has lower rank than Sigit, just check it that Yoga-Yoke is higher than Sigit/Fran)
I don't know how count the new pair ranking in Superliga, based on BWF Ranking or not.

That is Purwati. One of Djarum Badminton Club's WD. She was the 1* Bulgarian Open champion last Nov/Dec. Highest world rank... mmm... #21 or something. ;)

Yeah.. He left me offline messages 3 hours ago, and wrote that he's not playing - but it's ok, listed the MD players for Djarum, and said he hopes Sigit will do the best for team, hopes that Djarum can go to the final..

So let's see later.. whether Djarum will beat Jaya Raya or not.. Hmm?!

    Men's team

    Jaya Raya beat Djarum 3-0

    Kendrick Lee d Andre Kurniawan 21-19, 21-19
    Markis/Hendra d Sigit/Fran 2 sets
Ronald Susilo d Ari Yuli Wahyu H 2sets

    Surya Naga beat Tangkas 3-0

Chen Hong d Simon Santoso 2 sets
    Tri Kus/Alven d Albertus/Yohan 2 sets
Sony Dwi Kuncoro d Alamsyah 2 sets

    Women's team

    Tangkas d Surya Naga 3-0

Wang Chen d Petya Nedeltcheva 2 sets
    Jo Novita/Endang Nur Sugianti d Lelyana Daisy/Eny W 2 sets
Yip Pui Yin d Maria Febe 21-13 22-20 (not sure 1st set score)

    Jaya Raya d Djarum 3-2

    Djarum lead 2-0
Adrianti Firdasari lost to Maria Kristin 6-21 7-11 ret.
Firda didn't look well when came on court, looked on her face expression and lost easily to Maria Kristin
Pia Zebadiah lost to Maria Elfira 8-21 15-21 (I think Pia should be focus on Double only, weak smash and no weapon as single player)

    Greysia Polii/Rani Mundiatsi d Meliana Jauhari/Shendy Puspa 18-21, 21-18,21-14
Djarum almost swept the match by 3-0. Greysia's experience factor made te winning to Jaya Raya. Rani had trouble with weak return so the match was dominated by Djarum's power in early 1st set and 2nd set.

    Fransiska Ratnasari d Rosaria Pungkasari 21-13, 21-10
Rosaria didn't look well, she didn't play for some previous matches and replaced by Febby Angguni. Wrong decision by Djarum "give" Maria Febe to Suryanaga while Rosaria & Sylvinna injury.

    Pia Zebadiah/Nitya Khrisina d Yulianti/Rintan Aprilia 21-17 21-14
Rintan played badly in this match. Actually Yulianti played well but not ideal younger player as pair leader. Pia/Nitya played well, I said they played better than Greysia/Rani. They keep in aggressive play and forced the opponent made some error.

Yes, if Djarum had Maria Febe with them, then the results would have been different...:p I saw Febe destroyed Fransiska [Nana] in the Indonesian Open with a straight set... Nana could not play Febe well...

Well, from what I heard, Djarum's intention was to get Febe a lot of match exposure. They got that. What was uncalculated was the Rosaria and Sylvinna injury... :p
