@nilesh123 Brilliant Rd2 by Aditi.... She was 4 under after 8 holes..... Awesome debut by the teen...... Of course she missed cut after her thursday, but had that crazy hole yesterday not been there, she would have made the cut...... Media darling and supposed Rio Gold odds on favourite continues his amazing form to miss cut again..... Too bad his consistent run will be ended at Rio, since theres no cut there..... Unfortunately for him, he won't get a weekend off there and will need to play.... No more sightseeing for the tourist.....
Clean chit for Narsimha Yadav, Also @Fan123 idk if u followed Sania/Hingis lost to some 'tom-****-and-harry' at Montreal! I guess it'll over after the OG I wish she partners Mladenovic/Shvedova
Tough draw for Indians no doubt, especially in WS and MS. But I am still not giving up. We can do it.
@Fan123 u checked the boxing draw? Vikas and Shiva unseeded also our best hope plays London OG Gold medalist in the very First Round I Love You AIBA
Tbh PVS got more chance then SN and JG/AP got thrice as good chance then KS or even SN! Also, since there are only 12 teams a top 4 finish in the ranking round can take Indian Women Archery team straight to the QF that's Fab, and a single win can get us in medal prospect. Jai Ho
The men's ranking round just finished Atanu Das outplayed my expectations by finishing 5 (683) and what do I say OMG I don't have words for the Korean (Kim Woojin) 700 as he creates WR
Lol my bad typo! BTW after that disastrous M on Deepika's board she was never the same, not only her individual but our team medal hopes go as cold as siachin, which IMO was the best shot at podium in archery
The ladies putup a flop show at the 10M air rifle expected much better from Apurvi Although our sole qualified rower enter QF by finishing 3rd in his heat, looks like a hell of a task to go any further, PS: what ever he does wherever he finishes it's still a rowing achievements for India. OTOH ITS OLYMPICS GUYS, this thread must've been flooded its Day2 already
Paes/Bops edged out by the Polish, Mouma Das was thrashed n Manika lost g3 after leading 8-1 Autocorrection a boon or a bane ? Had to edit the post twice
Indian men team's (hockey) victory over IRL (3-2) in the opener is as good as a loss, failed to convert a single shot into goal (field) and 50% of the penalty corners besides they gave IRL as many penalty corners as they had. If they perform like this even against the likes of Eng (let alone AUS) , a wooden spoon is not far away....
Heartbreaking..... Jitu finishes 8th in the finals, he showed steely resolve in the last moment to qualify but Final was just too hot to handle! Really disappointing day1
This is going from bad to worse for India. On the very first day India lost out on at least 4-5 genuine Medal hopes. Jitu lost Gurpreet lost Apurvi lost Ayanika lost Leander/RB lost Sania/PT lost Mirabai Chanu lost The whole table tennis team got knocked out on the very first day
We don't have much to look forward (today), we got a possible QF against the quite strong looking Russian team (Archery Women team)! Japan for the blue eves, And shooting, my hopes looks meek! Even Thailand got a gold in day1. BTW the scoreline says Prarthana might've done well yesterday (couldn't watch the match). Any comments?
