Lee Jae Bok has released all his IBBS video clips on a set of three DVDs. http://www.ibbs.tv/IBBS/home/dvdoffer.aspx The videos on IBBS are streaming, and they expire after 5 days. Many people have indicated that they want to own the videos; now you can. The catch? Well, it costs £180 (!), which is more expensive than watching them all on IBBS. On the other hand, you get to keep them forever.
well, depending on where you are in the UK, you could get 6-12 hours of 1 to 1 personal coaching for that sort of money. I'd probably go for the coaching, plus view a few specific clips from the website. But then I've only seen the free sample clips from the website, so I don't know how good the full clips are. Anyone who's seen them, got an opinion?
I've seen nearly all of them. Almost all of them have taught me something new. They are truly outstanding. The sample clips only show a small part of the full video details. By viewing the sample clips only, you get the impression that the teaching is rather basic and lacks detail. That's not a correct impression. I think £180 is a bit cheeky. That's £30 an hour. A full length movie costs at most about £10 an hour on DVD, and even that is a rip-off. I'm not going to say that the DVD "isn't worth it", however, because I believe it probably is worth it. I won't be buying it, but then I've got most of the videos already on my PC
By the way, if you just want to see a few videos, here's my favourites: Roots of badminton - grip Backhand drive Low serve in doubles
A cheaper DVD is soon to be released by BADMINTON England. This DVD will feature Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms, plus others. It costs £20. Details: http://www.badmintonengland.co.uk/show_news.asp?section=000100010009&headlines=1&id=210
LJB dvd is 50% off and free shipping if ordered before may 12th. That's £100 off. It's still a pretty hefty price though.
I just made a puchase on the DVD-Set it is 392 mins (6 hrs and 32 mins) and right now they have a 50% off deal if you order before May 12. The price is 90 pounds, and remember to add the money via ibbs system, you only need to pay 81 to get 89.1 credit, plus the 1 dollar(or more if you have) when you sign up, I pay only 81 pounds total for the DVD-Set which includes shipping. Aside from this. I think that 19.99 pound DVD is worth it too. I'll buy it for sure. They're are worth the buck in your pocket. Remember a DVD in your television is worth more than the same buck in the future. Buy it now and learn it now.( I am not sales, I am just a customer)
Wow, talk about responding to feedback! £82 (approx.) is a much more reasonable price for the IBBS DVD set. I think I would buy this DVD now, if I hadn't already spent money on many IBBS videos.
am I missing something? Is it 3 DVD's or 3 sets because if it's 3 DVD's then £80 odd seems well steep Oh well I just plunged out for the £89 for them , Neil how did you get yours for lower?
1 set of 3 DVDs. how can you think £80 is steep and then throw away £8 by not waiting for the answer to the question of how to get them for less? It was already mentioned in this thread (post #11) And that's what I did. Register as an IBBS user and then add money to your IBBS account If you add more than £30 in a go, you get an extra 10% creditted to your account. You get £1 free when you register add £81 to your account 10% bonus of £8.10 all adds up to £90.10
please post a review of these when u get them and watch them, thanks! things such as the menu for choosing which topic you want to watch etc etc
even it is half of the price..it is still kinda expensive ...it is still more than $100 us dollars ....cant afford it ........i won't buy it
Yup, I agree. However I respect the property of knowledge. Too bad he doesn't make it more public by selling them cheaper or free. His reputation will still be respected.
