It was close and tight as expected between Nova/Butet and Xie/Zhang. Nova/Butet took the first set 21-19.
The Indonesian pair increased their tempo and attack in the second set which caused the Chinese pair to somehow lose their concentration. Xie/Zhang found themselves trailing 11-4 at the interval and they could not come back after that. The Indonesian pair won the second set easily 21-12. Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir were absolutely superb today as they managed to beat their arch-rival. Can they clinch another title tomorrow...I think so
