People kept asking him his English name and he finally said... OK OK... how 'booouuuuuut...... Jackie. Just have seen Jackie Chans racquet hanging outside so he just picked one. Now he is Jackie. OK, end of list! Thanks for everyone's contribution!

    Challenge Game!

Oh.. I haven't meet him before. I just imaging how cute (in term of character)is he based on your descriptions actually :D :D

I wish I could play at GGBC one day.. but as I know here in Malaysia, we don't have special club for badminton :crying: , we could only play at the sport club/complex or school badminton hall...... btw, ever think of open one in Malaysia? :D

I love challenge game too, so I will always search for good players. I like to invite players from other court for a friendly match. Thru this way, we can learn much more from each other.

    HAPPY CNY to ALLL!!

    Hello ALL members at BC!!

IT is CHINESE NEW YEAR once again and it's our first in GGBC! GGBC would like to wish everyone a Happy Year of the Dog and may everyone enjoy Great Health, Prosperity, Wealth, HAPPINESS and MOST OF ALL, Happiness playing BADMINTON!!! Our True Love! :D

GGBC was very happy in our first 6 months of business and we would like to Thank ALL our dear Members and those NEW badminton lovers who are now addicted! :p We so enjoy seeing all the new faces coming in to try it out, and at the end of the day, falling in love with the game, and just keep coming back! We are now so spoiled by our members because they are constantly bringing us candy, delicious food and just being great people! The Staff really enjoy seeing newcomers make friends with our members and now we are just one big happy family! That, is the start of a great New Year!;)

The Bay Area is now promoting badminton and giving it a higher level of exposure. San Francisco Chronicle came to interview GGBC, as well as the other Clubs, and Channel Five also came to do a feature. We are so happy that all the Clubs are working together to give people a true account on the benefits of badminton to ALL people no matter, young or old, big or small. Here we would like to share the SFO article and the clip on Channel Five if you have time to take a look!

    Repair

I herd ggbc has a way to repair broken/snapped rackets. I've seen a few people bring them in to the store a few times.
Can i get some confirmation on that?

If so, what materials do they use and is there a limitation on what they can repair?

Long delayed Answer to last message

    Hello there Koretko and everyone!

Hi Y'allll...How is everyone by the way?:D Been kinda quiet here huh?

Sorry we reply so late, but if you want to play with advanced players at GGBC you can drop by every Tuesday night about 6:30pm or so when all the advanced players usually come. BUT .... nightly there are advanced members in and out, as well as highly skilled Mike Yang and Coach Jinsong who are both up for challenges pretty much any night of the week if they are around and not tired from working! Also our young elite training teams will work anyone out if there is the demand, so just drop on by or give us a call first at 650 838 9318 and ask if there are advanced players around or if Mike or Jinsong can manage a challenge! I'm sure they will be happy to oblige!

    Later! From Hong Kong, Sally!

    Improvements at GGBC!!

    Dear GGBC Members and Guests,

Recently, we have undertaken a number of improvements, one of which, in direct response to feedback from you, is to change the color of the ceiling, from stark white to a vibrant green. With this change, we are proud to say that we are now in compliance with International competitive standards. To arrive at this decision, we researched professional badminton clubs worldwide. This effort was a challenging and costly one, but well worth it. At GGBC, our philsophy is to strive always to provide you with the ultimate badminton experience.

Once you have adjusted to the new brightness, you will find that the enhanced contrast of the shuttlecock will help to improve your game.

You spoke up and we listened. So stop by soon, and enjoy.

    Smash with passion!

    Best Regards,

    Mike Yang
    Founder and President
