    You're right. Thanks for correction.

Congrats for the second hattrick then.

    All England next ?

But honestly next year what I really want from them are winning that WC title, I honestly don't even care if they won only like 2, 3 or 4 open tournaments as long as they get that WC title :D

I'm sure minions are eyeing AE champion next year since they value AE title more than anything. Heck, Kevin even put his AE medals as interior accessories for his brand new supercar. :D

Oh, and btw AE19 organizer already looking forward for minions victory!! :p

    China Open hattrick for Minions.

Of course they need to always win title. They leverage the World Number 1 status to gain more money. The titles just make it sweeter and If its meant to be, it will be...

Have to say badminton prize money in itself dont make much.

Very impressive win by minions, even when they didn't play that well.

So that yellow and black jerseys are called "Bumble Bee" Yonex kit. I wonder what they would come up with in the future, "Popeye The Sailor Man"? "Captain Indonesia"?:rolleyes::rolleyes: Well I guess anything is better than bright red underwear over bright blue leggings..

Indeed minions are getting better playing in slow conditions but they need to be careful playing against fast and furious younger pairs especially the CHN because I agree (for once) with Morten that Marcus is the slowest players on court when they play against the CHN pairs, therefore their usual speed advantage over their opponents no longer applies to them.
Marcus is no longer as fast as he used to be, could be age could be fitness, one of the things I noticed from his movement is that he even walks differently now compared to last year. His steps are getting heavy. Could it be a slight body weight problem?

I think they are playing as well as ever. Easy to say that they dont play that well, that they make many mistakes but imo, this is MD. There will a lot of errors as long as you make less than the oppositions. Try not to think too much about the lost points is what matters in MD.

I actually think their weakest period is during the WC and AG (even the team event almost lost to Indian pair) That is when they dont feel that good at all, Gideon got pushed around a lot, one can say mental fortitude that they won AG with super difficult draw.

Well it's true though that they didn't play that well in the final especially gideon, even gideon himself said that on his IG :) but yeah their performance yesterday still much better than their performance in WC.

Interesting... I've noticed it doesn't matter which non English speaking player it is (INA, MAS, CHN, TW, etc) , but they all shout "out" in English instead of in their own language...

It's probably bcuz "out" is the most common used term in every sport.

Besides, "out" is so much easier to write and say. It’s only ONE syllable.

High serves or not, doesnt really matter. It doesnt cause you to earn point or lost point when 170cm guy is serving.

Before this rules are introduced 2018, almost all players serve higher than Gideon in 2017. Including the tall tanker like Li/Liu, ConradKolding. Its not as if they( Li/Liu and Conkol) have won titles because they serve higher. So it makes no different.

It's better for the players too to know what common terms used globally. If you played a tournament and some players didn't even understand basic words like "service, out, in, net, fault etc" in English that would be chaotic. And having to translate (in their head) every words used in a tournament might cause nervousness or tire the players mind and causing less concentration to the match itself.

I think.. :D This is my personal view.

It's illegal. It does matter. EVERY player is required to follow the rules, short or tall.
