If I am not wrong , morten when commentating @French open said that he spoke to park and Akane about her situation and she said that she was 80% fit @ French open and will be 100% fit @ china open.
    Anybody heard about it?

Dont forget Sindhu as well. I wonder how these girls will feel when they lose to somebody who dont even dream beat them. That's life sometimes.
Better to move on and train harder instead of thinking the past.

True. It's better to move on. The future is uncertain. Some surprises will bound to happen.

Well, the field outside top 8 in WS is quite or almost as competitive as MD. IF you are not fit enough, you will be punished.

Sometimes I wonder why Gondo and Kurihara are even put in the A team. They're constant first-round exiters o_O
They're basically there to make up the numbers.

ya, think i heard it. Anyway as long as she can qualify for Tokyo, she should get her fully recover first. There are still enough time and tournaments for her to get in gear.

Maybe because they are the only "specialized" XD pair in JP team, not included Yuta/Arisa?
But I'm not complaining about Ayane's beauty though, she's my eye candy

Haha, I'm 31 years old and still a single man. So, recently I've tried to find a girl friend (who can play badminton) to love but Nishimoto. ^-^

Right, as if it makes a huge difference for Marin to lose at 1-21 instead of retiring at 1-13, just so to please some people and/or allay BWF's suspicion that she might be faking injury? Perhaps, years down the road, some fans who still remember that match can say she didn't lose too badly, only 1-13 and not 1-21, splitting hairs.

If only Marin is kind enough to set a Guinness World Records for the worst defeat in badminton history by a world and Olympic champion. How some people would gloat over it, of how TTY came so close to whitewashing CM 21-0.:p:D:)

I heard it, so Akane's loss in two straight sets to Sonia surprised me a fair bit, not taking away any credit for Sonia whom I think is a reasonably good player capable of upsetting the applecart sometimes.
