    Yes, fitness wise the MAS girls cannot cope after so many punishing rallies. This is the same situation as in the Thai Open.

    10-17 now.

    Phew...Du Jing/Yu Yang eventually beat a spirited-effort from Wong Pei Tty/Chin Ee Hui 20-22, 21-19, 21-11. The MAS pair should have won it in the second set at 19-17.

    And now for the last match of the day...Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Cai Yun/Xu Chen. It has been a long long wait for this one.

    CHN wins, but it was a great fight from the Malaysians. They were almost equal in tricks and determination, but CHN had more physical and staying power.

    At least MAS girls gave the Chinese something to think about. A great display by both pairs and Yu Yang/Du Jing show why they are no 1.

    ..ah well, no more livestream as GD-TV has also switched to F1 racing...wanted to see a bit of MD action..:p
