Err..no...because the wins in Denmark and French will have compensated for the loss of pts in the China and Hong Kong SS. Things would have been different if they did not win any title in Europe, which thankfully is not the case.

So, my prediction of 1 title in French Super Series seems to have been correct :D

Hopefully they won't be to rusty with a long 1.5 months lay-off before the SS final.
Thankfully, there's Kejurnas in between :D.

Do you know where Kerjurnas will be held this year? Maybe it's time to mudik (go home visiting families) :)

The Kejurnas will be more like exhibition matches for them, since its a Mixed Team Championships, so, if Jaya Raya lost in the early rounds, they will not even play in the later rounds

I see Team Djarum (Andre, Maria, Rian/Yoke, Mel/Shendy, Fran/Shendy) and Tangkas (Simon, Nova/Butet, Vita/Butet) as strong favorites.

It coincides with the KLRC New Zealand Open GP, which is the next tournament involving a small group of INA players: Tommy Sugiarto, Wifqi Windarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan, and Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie. I expect Tommy to progress to QF, while Edo/Lingga and Wifqi/Afiat have the chance to win a title in MD if they can beat Cheah Soon Kit/Ong Beng Tiong :eek: and Chen Hung-Ling/Lin Yu-Lang.

It has been a non-stop 8 weeks of badminton (kinda rare) and Team INA has done quite well, winning titles in almost every tourney, except for the KLRC Bulgarian Open GP, a total of 12 titles.

Chinese-Taipei Open GP Gold and Japan Super Series -- MS and XD
China Masters Super Series and Dutch Open GP -- MS and MD
Denmark and French Super Series -- MD
Macau Open GP Gold -- MS
    Bitburger Open GP -- WS

Yeah, hope the Olympic Champ will perform their best once again in Masters Finals! In 2008 season, Kido/Setiawan bag 4 SS titles (MAS-CHN Masters-DEN-FRA SS), a significant improvement compare than last year 2 titles in China Open and Hongkong SS.

The French Open finals were. among the best we've ever seen, 4 of 5 finals were really tight. And this was also reflected in the PAW tournament.

Congrats to all winners and losing finalists for a great show ....
