donna was hogging all the defensive shots! she moved into jenny's side completely in the very last point...clashed racquets and lost the point they need to sort their pairing out...it didn't work at all in that match

The Last match with the ladies seemed very dis jointed... Didnt look a good pairing at all...imho.. But anyway well played the Danes.. Team England will get them next time.. Looking forward to the All England now..
I was pleasantly surprised to find out the men and women doubles matches were telecast live in Singapore on cable tv (ESPN Channel 23) last night. There will be repeat telecasts of the finals and semi-finals this week.
Actually there's been quite regular badminton coverage on ch 22 and 23.Mostly delayed telecast. The European championships and SS highlights on ch 23(ESPN) with full SS and SC,TC and WC on ch 22.Clear sign of progress for badminton.
Congratz to Denmark team who wins 8th straight title! And England almost created an upset yesterday when they forced the top-seed hard time in final match, brilliant!
Yes Congrats to Denmark and their impressive MD pair of Boe and Mogensen, who stood to their guns and blasted off Clark and the ever-unsporting Robertson in their final game to allow Denmark's girls to snatch the European crown from England. Looks like Boe and Mogensen are gearing up pretty well for their forthcoming AE onslaught!
congratulations to denmark for retaining the european badminton team championship wow, anyway, england did gave a great fight to them yesterday
Yes. And one may say that England had also missed a golden opportunity to capture the EU crown just as what Poland had missed beating England the day before. But from two matches and two points down, Denmark proved they are worthy and resilient champions when they caught up from behind to nip England. The turning point came from their star MD Boe and Mogensen when under tremendous pressure at England's playground, they took back the rubber game to enable Denmark to go on to win in the WD and the title as well. Poor England must be hurting very badly as they were on the brink of victory in the MD and despite Anthony Clark playing his heart out after expending much energiy in the XD, his partner Robertson was not helping him very much with his unsporting behaviour again.
