Wow...Lin Dan is in. I guess Li Yongbo figures out that Lin needs match experiences and more importantly the ranking pts, to be ranked above Chen Jin in the upcoming Thomas Cup. There is no more tourney left after the BAC. So, the conspiracy theory as to LYB wants Lin to be ranked below Chen Jin is untrue after all I guess LYB is just not confident that Chen Jin can tackle the likes of Lee Chong Wei and Peter Gade in particular.

I don't think there is a conspiracy to make him MS2 (because there is no point). BCL and PG simply beat him on merit, now to make up for it, he has to get some points. He has to reach QF to overtake CJ, and the ranking will stay till TC comes around.
I believe BCL bt LD on merit in AE, but I think there is conspiracy when Chen Long bt LD (knowing CL next match will be up aganist Gade) because China wants CL to have more "feel" of Peter Gade game.
possibly yes i guess, this is part of Chinese training strategy usually used: use competitions of less importance (i.e. those other than world championship and of no or less nationaly honours) to train up younger players so that they could grow in a faster pace...
If Lin Dan does show up for the BAC....there's no question abt it...he has to win the title! He's simply superior to all those players in the list...including Taufik Hidayat.
