How come i am laughing so hard looking at Sonoda that rally after 20-15 in G2

He is just standing there and keep tucking his arm shirt while Kamura is puffing heavily.

Must be the laughs of the day.

I too expect LCW to win this time, I can almost feel his hunger, and he doesn't look too tired or slow the last two matches despite what happened in the group stage against the same opponent SWH.

But I still think LCW should go all out and win it in two straight sets, a three-setter certainly won't favour him. Father Time spares no one, that's life.

As for WS, expect a different Akane from the one who just lost to sindhu tamely in only 36 minutes at the group stage where she has no incentive to win as it's academic. On hindsight, IR is not wise to try so hard to beat CYF at the group stage and ended up playing a hard-fought 74 minutes energy-sapping match unsuccessfully which also took a toll on her the next day against Akane.

I hope sindhu plays to her full potential.
She has great h2h against Akane.
And last two times , she disposed Akane in straight games.
Hope she finish it in 2 games since Akane's fitness level is incredible.
Yesterday, Sindhu was simply brilliant. Ousted Chinese youngster in straight games.

    Watching mixed doubles now.

Interestingly the HK pair are not trying to match Zheng and Chen for speed. I doubt they could do because Zheng is so fast.

Zheng/Chen clinical in taking G1 21-15 despite a tight early rallies.
One more game and they will retain the title.

They did it. Zheng/Chen retains the Dubai Finals title after saving a gamepoint at 19-20 and takes it 22-20.

A fitting finale for Chen Qingchen in XD, a SSF championship.

ZSW praises the HK pair for playing very well, and added they themselves have some lucky points

They look better this tournament than they have the last half year or so. Perhaps due to less pressure now they're not a partnership any more.

No more double duty for Chen Qingchen, she will only play WD, this XD tournament is her last; in fact, CQC and ZSW have stopped their XD partnership for more than a month already.

ZSW is now partnered with Huang Yaqiong, a very successful start having won three(?) titles together.
