nah, i think luluk/alven are sill "boys" (oh oh i'm talking like taufik now) in terms of mental stregth, they still cant be counted upon to get any points for indo, example is during thomas cup, there were no 1, won many tournament, was in form, but didnt win any of the important matches.

chandra/sigit on the other hand, may be slower, but then their mental is there, they've played so many team matches! they are so old already! :D

Only if they get enough points to make a difference in overtaking somebody else's total.

Too late for a poll! Only an hour to go!!!!

Both doubles teams had a rest yesterday. Sigit is the key man. When he goes for it, almost nothing can stop him. Hope he can last 3 sets

    cool streaming

hmm - just got this, in time for the badminton later on - but it's really stuttery, i've got 2mb broadband so there isn't any trouble with bandwidth - any ideas anybody? could it be to do with being behind a router?

Neil, the problem is some people have poor uploads. I reckon thats how coolstreaming works, like bit torrent you need people to upload it, but since the majority are on 512/128 or 1500/256 connections they can't upload 340kb/s worth of content even if they saturate their upload because it is physically impossible for them.

So people like us who have 512/512 or 2Mbit/1MBit can't be helped because of the poor uploads of others.

it will be tough tonight to get smooth streaming. there are currently 4600 users trying to stream CCTV5. even though coolstreaming is very scalable, this may be stretching it a little bit.

Hehe I'm all standby to watch this match online, but coolstream CCTV is really lagging now. Hopefully it will improve when the match starts.

ah right, thanks for your insight FEND and kwun, i'll stick at it - it seems to be okay at the moment. only occasionally hiccupping - a bit of fiddling with the media player settings and turning as much as possible off on our network seems to make a little difference..

    bring on the badminton!!!
