WD is understandable as no need for ZYL to play 2 matches to risk injuries unnecessary. MS is a bit worrying as CL is probably still not fully recovered from his injuries.
Another worry is this is the first time Chen Long is assuming the mantle for CHN MS in place of Lin Dan and should he face off Lee CW on the latter's home ground, can he deliver? I hope so. But then CHN and MAS may not meet. If they do, the pressure on Lee CW as on Chen Long isn't any less great, I think. However, should they cross swords, it'll be Chen Long's 3rd encounter after two previous wins versus Lee CW, so statistically speaking the probability of Chen Long scoring his 3rd straight victory doesn't favour him if previous records are anything to go by, on paper.
For me, WD is understandable since WXL/YY is the best choice already, no need to give them another test.
