The casualty list for INA players was pretty much was what I expected, but I am glad that Andre and Febe can progress! More will fall today and I believe Pelatnas will only be relying on their XD pairs in the QF.

    MS R32
    Taufik Hidayat
    [1] vs Wong Wing Ki

Anup Sridhar [16] vs Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka -- a tough match for Hayom and it marks a progress if he can beat Anup.

Tommy Sugiarto vs Kim Sa Rang -- I still do not trust Tommy's ability and I think the KOR player will continue to progress.

Andre Kurniawan Tedjono [8] vs Chan Yun Lung -- should be a straight forward match for Andre.

    WS R16
    Maria Febe Kusumastuti
[5] vs Hung Shih-Han -- I think Maria can still progress

Fransiska Ratnasari vs Bae Seung Hee -- a much tougher match for Nana and I hope she can progress.

    MD R16
    Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra
[3] vs Rasmus Bonde/Mikkel Delbo Larsen -- another Danish pair for AG/Alvent and I hope with Jung/Lee's withdrawal, they can progress beyond SF.

    WD R16
    Zhang Dan/Zhang Zhibo
vs Annisa Wahyuni/Anneke Feinya Agustine -- this marks the end of the road for INA's WD (yet again).

    XD R16
    Mohd Rijal/Liliyana Natsir
[5] vs Mikkel Delbo Larsen/Mie Scjott-Kristensen -- Rijal/Butet should be careful not to be upset by the upcoming Danish XD pair. Suddenly, there's a resurgence in XD for Denmark. They have 2 solid pairs in the World Champion Laybourn/Rytter-Juhl, and Bronze-Medallist Fischer-Nielsen/Pedersen. I think this one might just turn up to be another top 10 pair.

Hendra A. Gunawan/Vita Marissa vs Yoo Yeon Seong/Kim Min Jung [7] -- a tough match for AG/Vita and I think the KOR pair might just win it.

Fran Kurniawan/Pia Bernadet Zebadiah vs Yohan Hadikusumo Wiratama/Chau Hoi Wah [4] -- a repeat of the NZL Open GP Final and I hope Fran/Pia can deliver again!

Tontowi Ahmad/Richi Puspita Dili vs Hui Wai Ho/Tse Ying Suet -- with the withdrawal of Sudket/Saralee, it opens up the path for Towi/Richi to reach at least QF.

Thx for updating:) Hayom likely will take on Boonsak Ponsana tonight unless Jang Young Soo could create upset...

If the news is true that Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka, then, it certainly marks a good progress for the PB Djarum player! I am looking forward to whether he can create further upset by beating Boonsak Ponsana/Jang Young Soo for a place in the QF tomorrow!
