And you spelled my name wrong... But YEAH... Wacha will be known as the MVP of this tournament after he beats WCH in the semi and Lin Dan in the final!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aren't we comparing Bao and Taufik being the opponent of LD and LCW of the QF match??? Or you just won't admit I dealt you a deadly blow earlier!
Whom told you Lin Dan is my hero??? I am Chinese, but my favorite player really is Peter Gade. Then I like everyone whom proves to be a winner...eg. Lin Dan, Taufik, of course the legends like Yang Yang, ZJW, etc. I also tend to go against people whom are totally bias toward their fellow countryman though!!! In this tournament, Wacha proved(and is still proving) that he too can be a winner!!! and he earned my respect for beating some tough opponents this far... most of you don't know how hard it is to improve if you are in a country where there is no good player to practice with.:crying: One can only imagine the kind of effort Wacha put forward to make it happen, it must have been very tough training.
Wacha is good for badminton... Sorry, I hate to sound racist, but it is hard to deny that: having several good Caucasian players increases worldwide interest in badminton... ...thus more prize money and sponsorship for everybody...
Will home ground advantage really count? Will there be sufficiently large numbers of English, Malaysian and Indonesian supporters to even the score? Or will playing away from home with a hugely partisan crowd against them merely stir them on to winning ways? We shall see tomorrow but the statistics below seem to favour the host country as more of its players/teams are featured: XD : England 2, China 1, Indonesia 1 MD : Indonesia 2, China 1, Malaysia 1 MS : Malaysia 2, China 1, Poland 1 WS : China 2, France 1, Hong Kong 1 WD : China 2, Indonesia 1, England 1 Summary: China 7, Indonesia 4, England 3, Malaysia 3, Poland 1, France 1 and Hong Kong 1. Those who still think that England is a weak team should really think twice. What is sure is that an Indonesian pair will appear in the MD Final, most likely Kido and Setiawan. And it will be a dream come true for all Malaysians if both LCW and WCH won their matches to face each other in the MS Final. So too for England if both their XD teams won their matches, which is less likely. But could both Pi Hongyan and Yip Pui Yin upset their WR No.1 and 2 China counterparts? Rexy would be faced with a happy dilemma if TBS and OSH should prevail over topseeds Fu and Cai.
In May, during the Indonesian Open, we ended up with MS: 0 finalist :crying: WS: 0 finalist :crying: MD: 0 finalist :crying: WD: 0 finalist :crying: XD: 1 finalist and 0 winner... :crying: First time in INA Open's 25 year history that this happened... In the past, we at least win one title...
Thanks for your analysis, but there is one crucial point you missed though. Allow me to summarize it for you in one sentence: It will be a dream come true when China clean sweeps all 5 division in this China masters 2007!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is very possible as China is the only nation that has representative in each division in the semi-final, and all China representatives are title-contenders' level Wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still like to see Wacha vs Lin Dan in Mens singles final, and WACHA TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't be pessimistic, Krisna. Things can only change for the better! Could Indonesia's experience happen to China as well?
So you're human after all. I can tell your mood will change if the Russians (ladies that is) are coming!

Only an idiot will arrange Lin Dan vs Lee Chong Wei to non-TV court, don't worry, it will not happen!
