I know that's what you meant... ;) But China does not need additional support. Not in BC, not anywhere... :D They have always said for thousands of years they're the self-sufficient Middle Kingdom... No need to rob others, no need to be supported by others... :p [hey, historically that's what many Chinese Emperors like to say, ok...]

I am kidding about Wacha being Chinese, bananaboy... :p But the part about how the ethnic Chinese were forced/coerced to change their name in Thailand, Indonesia, and Philippines is a historical fact... :) Oh well... not all government are enlightened, right?

I have never seen Wacha played before, so I don't even have a clue what he looks like.:p I should've check his first name first... that was a big clue that he should not be really "Chinese"...LOL.

INA all the way, dude! :D I have always believed that badminton is good for Persatuan Indonesia [INA unity]...

Jaya Raya, Tangkas, Djarum, Suryanaga, the 4 top clubs in INA.... their owners are all ethnically Chinese, but they all contribute their own personal money to build INA badminton glory! All are fervently patriotic... :D And all 4 clubs recruit without regard of whatever ethnic group the players came from.... They taught all of us something about practicing Persatuan Indonesia, INA unity...

seeing how lee choong wei just barely beat out taufik, and both lcw and taufik were in terrific form going into the tourny, i'd put my money on lcw to edge out lin dan...but it wasn't as if lin dan was "awarded" the semi spot, he did beat bao chun lai who was in a pretty good form...so it will be a good match to watch =P...but wacha for the final spot man!! ...but the finals will be interesting because xie zhong bo/zhang yawen got beat out by "anthony clark/donna kellogg" grrr =\...

Lin Dan was not "awarded" a spot this time... unlike the German Open, earlier this year... ;)

Cai Yun - Fu Haifeng got LYB's gift this time... :p

    Thank you thank you...

...of course I can't really say my prediction record has been great... :p Actually I am quite horrible in predicting the outcome of badminton matches. Except if I have to play Lin Dan... then the outcome is pretty clear... :p
