I'd be willing to bet that the INA XD and MD teams were told which pair would the "winner" and that the "losers" were instructed not to take the matches to 3 games.

I don't think so. It is obvious the level difference between those two XDs and two MDs.
I guess Marcus/Kevin are still a class above Alfian/Ardianto and Ahmad/Natsir above Faizal/Widjaja when it comes to planning a strategy between themselves.

This post is the reason why we should take random information on the internet cautiously

In INA, winning is everything. PBSI only cares about the home team taking as many titles as possible.

Haha maybe in XDs, it would be more believable. Faizal/Widjaja spent their whole energy last night beating the other INA pair anyway.
But I don't think Alfian/Ardianto could do any much better.

I know you're passionate about her and were in the zone, so no worries. Of the Chinese players, HBJ is my favourite by far because she actually has skill and creativity. I very much agree with you on that (GFJ might fall into the same category, but I don't think she's good enough overall). Unlike all other Chinese WS players, HBJ also is a nice kid with good sportsmanship.

But just look at your "super technicians" list. Two world champions, a player who's seen 11 SS(P) finals and world #1 at age 20, the greatest player of all time and a kid who hasn't won a title in two years. And guess who of those you're making out to be a world beater. RI and AY have "bamboozled" and "outrallied" TTY many times more than HBJ and they have a much better h2h against her as a consequence.

I agree that titles aren't everything, but they are not nothing either. In that regard, HBJ is by far the worst of the players mentioned and a few good games (without winning a title) do not change that. She's also not the only one in that group who'd benefit significantly from losing a few pounds.

Imo, you're expecting too much of her. Let her win a few titles and live up to her potential, which is undeniably there.
Naturally, I won't be cheering her on against AY, but I'd find it really funny if - after all the emphasis on the physical side that has surely been the main factor in developing young WS and WD players in recent years in China - it was the creative, talented one with fitness issues that came out on top. So, go HBJ! :D

It shouldn't make any difference so long as the service judge's eyes are at the correct height.

    I don't think so..

Since minions are arguably the best MD players in the world at this moment, I believe majority Indonesian fans in favor of them to beat Japanese pair in final tomorrow.

Anyone else who thinks otherwise is plain stupid. :D:D:D

Hope CPS/GLY could upset. They’re one of the better pairs on the world tour and play really really well

Also, sitting further from the device will make it more accurate as well. I still don't see why they can't use some sort of laser device though, would be way better. They're really cheap too, and the service judge could just have a button which he needs to push in order to activate it.

well, yeah i mean majority of Indonesian fans on that youtube livestream anyway.

They're starting to pull the race card and feel Alfian/Ardianto is the real Indonesian pair

Is it REALLY necessary for the audience to be making that much noise while these two pairs are playing?
