Unfortunatly not a strong field this year ://
Damn I won 2 tickets for the weekend, but not sure if I want to go bc of the travelling, overnight-stay and esp. lack of of top stars (well, ofc we will see some of Europe´s and Germany´s best :) ) Not sure why almost no Asians are here, i mean it is still a good GPG event :/

Last year was still in the Olympic qualifying period ;). I don't recall many Asian players attending Bitburger in the past except last year. Mostly the German Open has better participation right ..?

2010 Bitburger a few CHN players but then it was held the week right after the World Championship nearby ...

In the meanwhile Pratama won, Nikolaj Persson once again quitting after a few points, and Schoettler still battling away taking the early lead again. Now if this was a 40 PAW tournament I probably would have put them in ;) ...

Can I take back a couple of thousand posts in the meanwhile. Be damned if I reach 10,000  wth ... [IMG]. Introduce user class or something :D

edit to save a post: posting in the serial # thread can run up your total quite quickly as well so if they wouldn't count like the chit-chat section, problem temporarily solved ^^

If I were you, I'd stop posting at 9999 posts and ask kwun if you can create a new account!

What a close match, English pair Chris Langridge/Peter Mills won over home MD Peter Kaesbauer/Josche Zurwonne, 23-21 / 20-22 / 23-21, all three games finished by deuce!

Wow, veteran Yao Jie, 35 already, playing both singles and doubles, amazing. And winning both of them in R1, that's something.

damn those malaysian backup players are hopeless....arif latif used to be on par with chen long in his junior days...now he's way behind...I wouldn't hesitate to have them removed from the national team

Yes, and hosted by the tournament organization itself.
Would be great if all torunament organizations would do it that way :)

What an idiot. Were things really tough for her down their? just breaking into top 10ish standard and improving, beating most of the worlds best couples then bam! I don't want success???? very strange. Can't be for glasgow2014, it's just one little tournament.

I was thinking the same...commonwealth games is no big deal for me...besides robert blair there really isn't any other players in the scottish team that can be on par with CA, worst thing is, rob blair is not the youngest person in the team

Exactly Blair excellent but 31 and on his way out v's Adcock who just keeps getting better and better. Pairing with Adcock was Imogens big shot at going to the top, just look how well they did in their brief partnership, the commonwealth games would be a tiny price to pay. So we know it's not a professional decision. Wonder what happened?
