He's anxious for SYQ's performance and form as Thomas Cup is just round the corner. Lin Dan already disappointed him yesterday. It's very concerning for his two key players to be not in tip-top condition at this time.

CXX vs PVS should be more interesting than this.

Seems like the old momota now with this rally at 17-7. Especially since his old fashion sense is back.

What’s up with Momota? Seems weirdly tired all of a sudden. And as I say that he’s back with his deceptive cross court serve return.

I feel that Shi Yuqi is playing too cautious, restrained, not freely and letting himself go the way he did with Lin Dan at the AE.

Kento Momota is playing better than he ever did since his comeback, it seems to me

As many other players who also didn't perform at least half of what they were expected, he shouldn't read too much of any result in this tournament as disappointment. Yet.
Would like to see how Lin Dan really did yesterday instead of just reading the scores.

Little shake of the head from Shi as he returns to his bag.

According to me, shi yuqi won't surpass his seniors. There will be players who are better than him at any point of time.

What's really going on. It is so frustrating not to be able to watch any of those matches

So nice of Momota to give Shi Yuqi "face" before his home crowd, by letting Shi Yuqi get to a 2-digit score before taking the 3rd game...

I think it has been conclusively proven that CHN's "closed" system of training (no foreign coaches & no foreigners in the CBSL) has only taught Shi Yuqi to beat his team-mates (Lin Dan, Chen Long) but isn't quite as effective against top foreign players like Lee Chong Wei, Axelsen, Momota, Srikanth, blah x 3....

Shi Yuqi's hopes for World Ranking No.1 will depend all of them to taking a break or retiring from the World Tour.

Sub to that channel for future matches as well. I also watch there since I have some weird flash issue with zhangyu.

G2 was supposed to be much closer without those wrong calls tbh. Anyway great win for Momota but that slip earlier was scary. Hope he’s okay tomorrow.

Shi Yuqi lost his confidence when he couldn't find the answer to balance Kento Momota solid defense and deceptive shots. The Chinese plot is so predictable for Momota, the newly-crowned All England champion succumbed easily in deciding game.
