I'm looking forward to the 0.5 km walks even if the Century Park Hotel has a gym...then can freely enjoy Rudy's great food tour whole day anytime!

JB is not exactly a walk-friendly place. The most dangerous part about walking in JB is those motorbike cowboys. There's been not a few fatalities and maiming injuries, reported or otherwise, caused by these snatch thieves. It's important to walk with that awareness in mind but for 30 minutes?Taking a taxi, however ,will take care of the problem, no worries.

Yes, it has a gym and swimming pool too. And unlike New York Hotel, it's not reputed to be haunted ......

Louisa, timing is not right, critical point in one of my projects. At most I can probably only go during semis and final day.

Important that you come since abedeng hinted New York Hotel may be haunted. Need you to police that to protect the players.ABC likely to be SS quality since still has Olympic ranking points?

Actually there are still several hotels near the stadium beside New York hotel but of course New York hotel is the nearest hotel and if you all want to shopping can also go to Plaza Pelangi which is very near to the stadium.

Errm...Ok...In many people view,JB tend to be a very dangerous city with all the snatch thieves and the high crime percentage. All my relatives feel so dangerous for my family when they heard we live in JB.:D:D:rolleyes:Anyway,JB is a beautiful city beside KL.There are a lot of good foods and good places to visit here.Hmm..Uncle Loh, why you did not come to JB once a while since you are so near to it???;)

No one knowledgeable about the place to bring me around. Actually I've never stayed overnight in JB. Most times, its a day trip.

Now tell us more about some interesting places around City Stadium, apart from Plaza Pelangi - food, sights, recreation, etc. :D
