DinkAlot, with regard to the 9000 you mentioned above, is this the nanopro9000 or nanospeed9000?

Nano Pro 9000, APACS doesn't have a Nano Speed 9000. They do have a Nano 9000 Speed though, which I have not tried. :p

nano pro 9600 tour vs nano fusion 608 pro

DinkAlot, you're probably the only one who's played with both these rackets.

Would you say that these two rackets are almost identicle in terms of ease of maneouvering, but slight edge to 9600 for smashing power due to stiffer shaft?

I came across conflicting info regarding the length of these rackets. Are they both extra long rackets?

Which racket do u feel is more head light?

I couldn't decide between these two rackets. Coming from a nanospeed 4500, i want to upgrade to a racket that's slightly stiffer and headlight to even balance that allows for easy, fast swinging motion. Just want to know which racket would fit my criteria more. Thanks in advance:)

The 9600 Tour and 608 Pro are completely different rackets. The 9600 Tour is like a Yonex NS9000-S, but even a bit lighter in weight as well as head light. It's an all-around defensive racket. The 608 Pro is a thick shaft, stiff attacking beast. Don't let the shape of the frame fool ya. :D

I've said this before and I'll say it one more time, you cannot reliably use the APACS specs. They are, in general, off. Most of the APACS rackets I have tested did not have the correct BP, weight and grip size.

"So, it just depends." What a corny line, but Panda will coin it. :p

I'm in the process of modifying and updating all the APACs rackets I've tested. Some, like the L50, T200, NP9900, VH1800, 9600 Tour, Super Light and 608 Pro are among the best rackets I'ved tried in there respective catogories. Hope to have it up by the end of the week.

Is it safe to say that Apacs don't have good QC and specs differs from batch to batch?

i switched from yonex to apacs for a couple reasons. one of them was for better durability.

Looking forward to the review. Just got a sponsorship with apacs and struggling to find a racket that suits my game.

Panda plays doubles and mixed so Panda used the Lethal 50. If singles, the Nano Pro 9900.

    For all-around, bias towards attacking:
Lethal 50, swings like an 88g moderately end weight racket.
Tantrum 200, similar to the L50 but swings 2-3g lighter
Visible Hollow 1800, slightly different feel but a great performing racket, comparable swing weight to the L50.

    For all-around, bias towards defense:
    Nano Pro 9600 Tour

For all out attacking and singles players:
Nano Pro 9900, ultra stiff, solid feel, gram from gram extremely powerful
Nano Fusion 608 Pro, solid all-around, thick, aero frame
Visible Hollow 1500, a more flexible, forgiving racket, but still hits bombs.

I see that the panda didn't mention AMP95. Looks like it isn't up to The Panda's standards

The AMPs are great but I find them a bit brittle. For the average joe, I think the racket will do just fine but if you are a hard hitter, the racket may eventually break.

So out of all those rackets, the Nano Pro 9900 would be the best for attacking? How would you say the stiffness compares to some of Yonex's stiffest rackets that you have tested?

    Thanks DinkAlot,

What string did you use with your L50 ? what tension did you find it best at ?

It's stiff like the Cab 22 but is forgiving yet still solid, stiffer than the 9000-X but again, more forgiving so you have better feel. It's like a SOTX Woven 11 but with good defense.
