AVP is a good racket as well. One of my favourites. Head heavy balance and medium stiff, but doesn't feel heavy and has a very fast swing. (takes some getting used to)

I had a discussion with some die-hard victor fans last month, all of them agreed that AVP swing and play the same as legendary Victor BS12 Blue, only a tiny bit of difference in hitting feel. Given the price of AVP (which is only 40-50% of the price of BS12), nothing to complain about. If speed is what you after, AVP is the choice. If you are willing to scarify a wee bit of speed for power, T200II is the way to go. Nano Fusion 722 is fun to play and great for those who has shoulder or elbow injury.

In the apacs website, AVP is mentioned as head heavy where as Tantrum 200 II is Even balance. So the even balance racket has more swing speed (fast racket movement) right ? Also I remember Paul Stewart mention that AVP is head heavy...AVP is 130 MYR less than Tantrum 200 II in sportshorizon.com. I am looking for apacs racket similar to BS12 or Arc 10/arc 11 since I don't have strong shoulders.

Yes, despite being more head heavy and the similar total weight as the tantrum, the sharpness of the frame allows for a faster swing (copied the Victor broadsword frame). Normally even balance would have a faster swing than head heavy.

Sports netbiz or Nikman sports. Operate from Malaysia but they ship overseas. Check if it is worth shipping it to your country.

My AVP balanced at 293mm while T200II 290mm, so AVP is not really that "head heavy" compared to some truly head heavy rackets like Slayer 88II which has a balance point of over 300mm. The cut wind sword edge design frame makes AVP swings considerable faster than T200II despite it is slightly head heavy than the later.

nano fusion 722 is NOT a racket for smashing power, how can one expect to pack a decent smashing power on a medium flex 6U racket? if you want serious smashing power and nothing else, go for Lethal and Slayer series high end model.

Thanks for the reply, couple of questions. Is AVP less head heavy than Voltric 7 ?. I cannot handle Voltric 7 (movements slow)because of my week shoulder. Every one knows BS12 and Arc 11 best ever doubles racket. Which is best for doubles AVP or T200 II ?

There is no BEST ever racket in double or single, only what racket best suits you and your play. Why don't you give both a try? We have a buy and sell section for those who are still searching for the right one.

I'd agree with that. U don't know till you try and its not too much money when you're buying apacs.

I love my Slayer 88 (1st gen). But Slayer II looks to be different specs.
Has anyone compared the two? Is there a different Apacs that is closer to the old Slayer 88? Thks:)

Am almost finalising on buying AVP. I play only doubles, hope AVP will be an excellent option for doubles.

It is a very popular Apacs racket. One of their better ones. I'm sure you'll love it.

Most of the people saying AVP is not that head heavy...Is it very close to Even balance racket then? Hope it will be good in defence as well. I am planning to order today.

Yes indeed. If you add an overgrip, then it becomes even.

    Hi,

I'm a beginner looking to purchase an apacs racket. Here are some specs I prefer but if it is not suitable for a beginner, do let me know. Playing both singles and doubles.

    1. Balance / slightly heavy headed
    2. Flexible shaft
    3. Slightly heavier racket 4U?
    4. Below SGD$100

It is pretty flexible actually. More and you can forget about smashing and playing singles..
