Yes, me too agreed with Brillopad, AVP is medium flex, effortless and easy to use racket. I love this racket since my first game using it and it had became my no.1 racket. Previously I am using Victor JS10KRP a highly rated, expensive and well famous racket in BC but since using AVP, look like the JS10KRP have to stay in my bag for long time.

Personally, AVP let me enjoy my games more. I noticed big improvement in my defense, counter-attack, and quality clear shots, as for attacking, yes AVP is slightly better compared to my previous racket.

AVP>>>>>JS10KRP ??? That is a big compliment to AVP. I know AVP is fast but I thought JS10KRP 4U should be faster and deadlier. Hmm.........JS10 is on my next to get list....................may be switch to TK9k9 ?

It is not about the fastest racket nor most powerful racket but it is all about how the racket can compliment my playing style, let me improve my badminton experience, play effortlessly and enjoy my games. For sure each of us have different opinions about their favorite racket coz "one man's meat is another man's poison".

I used before JS10 4u, this is a good, light and fast racket but it was too fast until I missed my timing, sweet spots and hitting the frame quite frequent. Hence, will this make me enjoy my games and play effortlessly if I always hits the frame, missed the timing and can't even produce quality shots?

PS: For JS10 4u is the commercial version coz Victor did not produce 4u KRP, the KRP version only for 3u

Funnily enough I also came to the AVP from the JS10 4U >> the JS10 is a fine racket, but I found (for me) that the AVP was superior in every way. Thanks to the high-speed frame and balance, it's both powerful and fast (without resorting to the smaller head of the JS10).

Hi guys,

Am currently looking to try out some rackets that are not from the Yonex brand. My current racket is the arcsaber 5. I'm looking for a racket that is either head-light or even balance. I've never been bothered about flex but I would prefer the one that is most user friendly?

I play predominantly doubles against players who excel in fast exchanges. I love my Arcsaber but I'm just in the market to see if any of the other brands can offer something that suits me better. Also the prices of Yonex are really making me look elsewhere for alternatives.

Any information provided is much appreciated. Thanks

I recently came across the Apacs N-Power 900. Cosmetically looks like the Victor Jetspeed, I think. Has anyone tried them? Comes in 2 models, one even balance and medium stiff and the other sightly head heavy and a tad stiffer shaft. Thinking about giving them a go. Would love to hear from someone who has used them. ^_^

The blue grey one looks like NR 900.

I think the N power series is an better option than the Z-ziggler and N Force that copy the VTFZ2. Two the of N-force rackets I got for my friends last year came back with broken WPS joint grommets.

Some of Apacs series II high end rackets released recently,

1. Tantrum 500 International II (despite all the bad comments about T500)
2. Blend Pro II ( Apacs's own Duora 10 equivalent)
3. Tweet 7000 International II
4. Lethal 100 International II

I'm gonna try the n powers and I'll post my findings. Gonna get both the medium balance and head heavy one.

feel bad for you. At 8 o'clock position, hardly it was caused by crash. Check the grommets around the crack area, could be grommets had worn out and string tension cause tiny fracture on the frame which later led to the crack. Apacs grommets sux.

Maybe occasional clash and recent tight stringing caused bad grommet.

Thanks for the comment

Went out today and got this on impulse... I couldn't find much info on the blend series but I was intrigued that it shared the same tech as the Duora.

Was hoping to get a budget Duora but then I got this Blend 7000 at a really good price...

Can't wait to try it out... :D

Blend is Apacs own series in fact Yonex copy from them. They had it logn before Duora was born. The difference is Apacs does not have LCW to promoto for them.

Can we say Yonex Duora is a clone Apacs Blend??
