What are the rules for taking pictures? Can I use non flash camera in the arena?
I have a work function to do in Geneva for a few days. Plus a sneak peek at he Geneva Motor Show - funny but the show almost always seems to clash dates with the All England.
Weather is not a problem - I travel to UK almost every year and my family had lived in London for a time in the 70s. Currency is no issue - most people don't realize that underneath the strength of the Pound, UK is a pretty affordable place for holidays, food and shopping.
Expected to be in SIN city from 12 April night or 13th morning.
Its on my bucket list!
I'm really looking forward to an action-packed week of Badminton!!
First time there's no matchday for me on Finals weekend, so finally visting a major ähm well the major Badminton event![]()
Once I had the chance to visit the WC in London11, but the atmosphere in the NIA or now Barclaycard-Arena should be quite a bit better and so special from what I have seen and heard the last years watching the vids and streams.
Its even greater this year bc of the OG, surely this will be a hint for the upcoming months. No one will hold back here. And the last time watching the likes of LD, LCW and propably a few others.
We will be welcomed by rain on tuesday it seems but afterwards it should get better and "warmer". Anyway most time will be spent in the hall so who cares about the british weather (coming from a cold, rainy, windy Germany last couple of weeks)
Anything one should do / visit in Birmingham besides enjoying the matches?!
For Food definitively the restaurant Tin Tin, closeby. We met a couple of players there over the past years, Kenichi Tago for instance in the last three years. And the whole Korean Team!
