Go out for supper and sip some "kopi-o" and let he winning glory sink in and enjoy the HIGH :D
The winning of MD should do Chong Wei some good, at least take away some pressure/burden from him.
All Malaysians, we shall return in few days for Swiss Open!

that's why china is lucky to have 2 guard dogs in WS. If one unauthorized entry get thru 1 guard dog (ZN), the culprit will be too tired to take on the 2nd dog (XXF). PiHong got thru (ie. beat ZN) because WMC was too tired to beat ZN after WMC had to tussle with 2 other lesser chinese dogs before meeting ZN. WMC did worn down ZN for Pi tho LOL

Congrats to all the winners & i don't think there were any big surprises...

...(just finished reading all the posts & surely i can tell there are a lot jubilant M'sian fans after the MD Finals match)..except maybe the WD pair of ZYW&WYL winning over their much more experienced compatriots..The rest, they won as most of us BCers expected..
..i thought he was already a "hot commodity" when coaching in England??..ie. NRobertson&GEmms??..And so far, both KKK&TBH have tasted success with Rexy guiding and being there by their sides. It's interesting how they'll fare when Rexy is not physically there by their sides in other tourneys...At any rate, congrats to the *young* pair of KKK&TBH..Men's Doubles indeed require speed, quick reflexes and power(smashes) and those 2 young lads surely have them....Now, perhaps they can use Rexy to coach LCW and all the other Single players..hehe:D;)

rexy is lucky too to have the right kind of pupils under him. Fu and cai are not known for speed but for power but this chinese pair did and had improve alot in the speed department to win some tournaments (with their power) but of course can't not match the MAL pair for speed.

I been watching KKK/TBH playing for a few months now. They have won all the sets throughout the AE tournament. When they managed to win a point, they will shout, "Fow!!!". I like this a lot and these shoutings have really freaked the Chinese pair out a lot (As well as the Danes). As a result, they ended with so many unforced errors. Tan Boon Heong is only 19 years old. He will be a major force in MD for years to come. Anyway, its a lovely birthday present for Rexy as his birthday was 2 days ago. See what they can do in the Swiss Open next week. Its also time for Malaysia to sort out its WS, WD and MD.

    True, true..

...i think in the end, the result(s) will come mostly from the players themselves..Cos if i think abt it, no matter how much coaching one gets, even from the brightest and brilliant coaches, it's the *players themselves* who MUST EXECUTE and perform what the coaches ask/require them to do. The best thing a coach, like Rexy, can do is to instill confidence in his/her charges, esp. the young/inexperienced ones. Case in point, CCM&KKK couldn't get it done(AE) even with Rexy coaching. Or even the veterans CTF&LWW couldn't muster any good finishes even with Rexy on their sides...
So, at the end, credits go to the players, and in this case and in this AE, to the young KKK&TBH..:) ;)

What was the final score for the Pi/Xie WD match. From Tournamnet software, it showed quite a awide margin in total points, which means Pi was smoked pretty badly. Poor Pi, she must have been so completely knackered fro the QF and SF matches that she had nothing left to give... not that XXF wouldn't have won anyway.

My congrats to all the winners, particularly KKK/TBH who are proving to be the rising stars in badminton. They sure have everyone (except their jealous enemies/fans) buzzing about them. Happy belated 39th birthday, Rexy; perhaps, you could sport the same bald look as KKK too:D :D :D :D

Recall that the only time KKK/TBH failed to enter the final was at KO ... and they lost in SF while Rexy wasn't around. KKK/TBH needs to prove their consistency by winning a couple more SS titles even without Rexy's presence.

KKK/TBH have made a meteoric rise up the badminton ladder. They are bound to encounter some hard times sooner or later. It's how they react to that that will determine if they are superstar material.
