don't care how dominant va has been these last couple of years, but his mental toughness is nowhere near prime momota.
I will not be surprised if the admin will not do a clean up of what has just been written in this thread. But he felt it convenient to clean up my post. Tells me what kind of person the admin is. I know this person is going to end up in a psychiatric ward in maybe 3 years time. But could be much earlier at this rate
If you are referring to the 12 finals in a row I mentioned, LCW and VA both have 12 Disagree. VA has frequently displayed his ability to adjust his tactics and pull out wins that looked like thtey could go either way. Look at R1 against Kidambi for example. Look at his final against Momota in Denmark Open. Just because you lose a match doesn't mean your mental toughness is bad. You are indirectly taking away the credit from KV's good play and persistence in this match. It looks like it is going to be KV and Naraoka who are going to be VA's main challengers in the next two years. They both show great persistence, even if they look exhausted. And they can still launch a stinging attack out of nowhere.
Mental toughness is something not relate much with the form. Prime or not, his still same. Yes, vik is low but mo is not a good example abt mental. The sudirman final match in 2019 was a weak mental toughness
So, Viktor Axelsen's final winning percentage is less than 100% now. Viktor's game is read or any reason for his loss?. Dont say that he is tired. He also dont wanna mention that. His games in this tournament and last tournament says that he had easier games than anybody else.
All the world number one unable to continue their win this week. Guess fatigue set in. Congrats to all the winners.
Btw am indirect reply to someone. I dun have to say that the food that those shutters ate were unhygienic to be racist. You already make your race look bad. Not replying to the person who asked me why I thought about the hygiene to avoid misunderstandings
The most I was looking forward to today were Malaysian MD but they have a habbit to disappoint and they succeeded Aron/Soh seems to be marching ahead in the path of PVS 2018 version...I remember she was in 7 or 8 Finals in 2018 and ended up winning the WTF so I hope her Malaysian cousins win this years WTF. Actually Both of them have already won the World Tittle and an Olympic Medal so they are already the best in the world even if they are losing the finals of these regular tournaments but I take it as their constant consistent endavour tk do better...and I better see this consistency at WC and Olympics.
Actually, Kunlavut played 1 more match than Viktor. Viktor played 8 matches in compared to 9 from Kunlavut. and Kunlavut experienced a tough match against to Naraoka.
World number 1 of MS, WS, WD, XD ... MD (expected) Stood aside / (pushed aside) ... this time in India Open. But yes, after a good rest, they will most likely be back where they belong. For MD ??? Sent from my XQ-BT52 using Tapatalk
Nothing against your fanboyism, but you could have chosen better examples. In both matches, VA was the heavy favourite. I don't need to remind you of what (Danish) commentators said about VA and KM ahead of the Denmark Open final. There a lot of examples of VA folding quite a bit, for example the WTF 21 when everyone knew exactly what Covid Antonsen would do and VA couldn't do anything about it. Or that match in Paris vs JC. Or the one in Japan vs LD, or.... Agree. KM and many others have also lost close games by way of making simple unforced errors in decisive moments. Sometimes others are also just better on the day/in certain conditions/in general.
