The American WD pair Lee/Corbett into the finals. Watching the last two games of their semifinal I was really impressed, in particular by Lee. Great defence and jump smashes. First medal ever in WJC for the US according to the commentator.

Chiara Marvela vs 2nd seed Opaniput in WJC gold medal bout. I would say the duel of 2 beauties.

no more tomboiz like the past.

Finals will have some good matches, I especially look forward to watch the MS, WS and WD.

Farhan vs Hu should be great, they look like the best (MS)players of the tournament.

Opatniputh is really cool and plays with a nice style.

USA WD in the final, and they should have a chance to win based in their performance this far.

Thailand take the women’s singles title. Pink retired from her HK Open match not wanting to risk worsening a minor injury preventing her from playing in the WJC tournament.

Indonesia grab the men’s singles title.

Alwi Farhan and Hu Zhe An both look like future top level players, and HZA is only 17 years old
