I would add Chen Yufei to that. Both keep losing to many players .

Chen Yu Fei lost to top players, like Yamaguchi, Tai Tzu Ying

After Olympic, no Watanabe/Endo, no Kamura/Sonoda, no Li/Liu, Marcus/Kevin was not their best, ...

Lee/Wang was worse than Chen Yu Fei

The quickest way to "at least" keep up with viktor is to join his camp in Dubai.
Okay...so as not to always lose, ginting might be able to consider it

Seeing Lee Chieuk Yiu giving Viktor Axelsen a hard time today reminded me of Viktor Axelsen vs Koki Watanabe in All England 2021. A lot of deceptions especially that forehand cross court drop shot. Props to Viktor Axelsen for winning through! :D

Also noticed, Kento Momota using the new Power Cushion Comfort Z o_O which Ardianto is using. The strings he is using right now could be the new Exbolt 65. He previously used the BG66 Ultimax which was 0.65 mm gauge.

Just found out Momota is using the Power Cushion Comfort Z Wide Mid ver according to Yonex Japan.

At least she got one title and reached finals three other times. I don't think Lee/Wang have even reached a semis?

Man I loved watching Momota slowly climb back and adapt in his game with NG Ka long. Comparing his first set and the third one you can see he's being way more active, has better defence, is competing more at the net and is aggressive.

    No covid checks at all.

Most people in audience wearing masks inside the stadium. I was surprised in a nice sort of way.

Lee Zii Jia lost to Shesar today is very similar to long time ago Lee Chong Wei lost to Sony Dwi Kuncoro in very early round, in this very arena...

remark: Axiata Arena Stadium is the curse place for most Malaysian players as get very hard to win any matches and always lose in early rounds...
