Thinaah and Pearly also lost, not easy to play in home court

LZJ played too emotional, he hit like he wanted to knock down the net.
The committee may need to check the structure integrity of the net pole after being beaten many times by LZJ,
    LOL

He probably could win if he play outside of Malaysia...the home court pressure just got to him

I am not that surprised LZJ lose because I think he is under pressure also after pulling out from Commonwealth Games and facing people questioning him. Also his matches against Shesar is also usually quite close.

At least the doubles pair of Anna/Teoh won. I like this pair,I think they have good chemistry.

It is,but I think many people dont even know who is Anna/Teoh so probably most won't notice. Anna is a very good player actually, very underrated.

Actually if you look at Shesar recent results, you kind of know he will give LZJ a very hard time.

To be honest, I really dunno how Anna can win. She played like a 2nd rate doubles pair yesterday.

Yes Shesar play against LZJ a few times already, quite close matches.

I have been following Anna/Teoh for at least 1 year plus already. I can say that maybe they are not the best pair in terms of technical skills but they work very well together. It's the kind of partner chemistry that I feel most of the MAS pair is lacking. They already won a World Tour title and they are a newish pair.

Lee Chong Wei won 12 Malaysia Open titles.

What if Malaysia host Olympic or World Champion at that time.

I think Lee Zii Jia succumbed to homeground pressure of the burden of expectations.

We might just see a Axelsen - Momota MS Final, I'm looking forward to it.

Han Yue, a breakout achievement beating An Seyoung. Keep it up !

Let's see how she handles the wily, highly experienced, prodigy Intanon Ratchanok, who survived two successive scares, coming from the jaws of defeat to overcome Sim Yu Jin and Zhang Beiwen to advance to the QFs.
