Sindhu through to the finals. She defeated the top seed Sung Ji Hyun in 3 games. Hope she takes the title.
I remember Tan Kian Meng last year when he played singles in India GPG 2015. He lost to srikanth in 3 tough games. This time he is playing doubles . I dont know why he chose to play doubles. But he is very good. He defeated more established pair in straight games and through to finals. Fantastic
Resilient Iskandar did it again. He made another upset in this tournament, beating second seed K.Srikanth. After losing the close first game, srikanth lost interest in the second game, losing eventually.
The dispute is taking too long, time to get on with it and deliberate on it later. The tournament referee and other officials are still in discussion over one controversial point early on in the match.
The umpire faulted LCW, the receiver, for moving before Tommy was about to serve. The tournament referee is explaining that you cannot fault the receiver until the server has served. Is he going to rule a let?
I feel the tournament referee took too much time to come to a decision, he should review the tape, watch the replay as shown on TV, and come to a decision within a minute.
In my opinion, Tommy shouldn't let it affect him, he didn't lose the point, only didn't win it based on the receiver's supposed fault which in the end the umpire was forced to reverse his original call and rule a let.
