Goh and Tan wins G1, they are much better than Boe and Mogensen who besides that also lack sportsmanship. I hope Boe takes the chance and gets some new glasses when he is in India.
Huang YX paces himself better with spurts of energy now and then while recharging in-between, otoh, Shu YQ seems to be showing signs of fatigue in G3 with errors creeping in. And HYX is through to the final.
Just discovered that Huang Yuxiang won his last four matches , every one of them went the full distance in three grueling sets, except the opening match where he took out Prannoy in two straight convincing sets in 34 minutes, the other four were more or less hour-long affairs. HYX's fitness/stamina would be put to the test tomorrow, the sixth and final match.
Joke of the day. Have good laugh.... All my friends and me who managed to watch the whole match live at the office workplace said this. Boe / Moe : Why I lose today, why oh why? Umpire : Both of you have forgotten to wear your glasses. That is why both of you are blind cannot see the shuttles properly. Boe / Moe : Oh how bad of you to curse us. Umpire : Oh I am not cursing you. Remember last time you told me to go wear my glasses and go back to India? So thankfully this time I am in India and I wear my glasses of course so I was able to see correctly. Boe / Moe : Forgive us for being rude last time. Umpire : Too late both of you have already lost today. Boe / Moe : Crying loudly.
Yes managed to catch a glimpse of the match just now and Nichaon played very well today. Congratulations.
The Korean WD are playing superbly well leading the first set 18-12. I guess they should be able to win this game.
Both Sayaka Sato and Jung Kyung Eun / Shin Seung Chan are right on track to win their game respectively. Both played so well today.
They only thing that makes a big difference in this WD are the Korean players are faster, attack well and have good defence too. Those are the determining factors for winning today.
To me,the 'old' warhorse Boonsak Ponsana on his day has the game and experience to deal with Srikanth but I suspect his fitness owing mainly to his age may not be up to it.
