I hope she doesn't give us a scare by allowing her competitor to push a decider!! Unlike her compatriots..
The respective first round opponents of LXR, WYH, Yao Xue, and WSX are all Europeans, I just noticed it.
I feel like WSX's condition at the moment is better than her compatriots' , as she said once in an interview "the confidence is the key to success" and WSX's been showing confidence since the Australian open, hope this time she can get the title, good luck to her
Hope this time Saina take revenge for her loss @ Australia Open . She is suppose to meet shixian in quarters. Hope she take the revenge.
22-20, 16-21. 21-19. Believe it or not. This is the score. Until now I am still shaking my head in disbelief. Another first round exit. This time to Kim Gi Jung / Kim Sa Rang. They just lost to Chris Langridge / Marcus Ellis. Well, today is certainly another day for the underdog. All the underdog seems to be performing very well in tournaments but the highly ranked players seem to have lost one by one. Perhaps playing as underdog here has no pressure hence the chance of winning is higher. So sad to see Korea lose again but I must also admit that Kim Gi Jung / Kim Sa Rang have been losing in the first round of almost every tournament that they have participated.
