    How about Son Wan Ho reaching Top 20 within less than 5 months? He ranked 200+ in August, reached Yamaguchi's current ranking in September and he now ranks 17 in the world. If we look at the relative ranking for WS in 2013, Akane had an average of 5617 points per tournament (though she only played 3) which makes her 6th in the world behind Tine Baun and the Top 4. If she keeps on getting 5000 points per tournament in 2014, she will easily become a real Top 10 material.

    My point is I think the probability is greater. I am not saying it is impossible.

    As for other things like top 20 is another matter.
