Now when THW is ready to pounce at the net, TU becomes a bit more hesitant at playing the net.

Better reading of the opponent's game with good anticipation wins the day for THW, going strong.

Finally, job done for THW. Takuma Ueda is a much improved player nowadays, luckily Tian Houwei didn't lose his bearings completely after the 2nd game rout and play more intelligently in the 3rd to seal victory, very good court sense.

Think they should move Nedelcheva- Takahashi to another court. Already 10pm in Denmark and this match could go 3 games.

Embarassing for the umpire to miss such an obvious double hit from THW. Even more embarassing for THW to pretend as if nothing happened. Guess that's what sportsmanship is all about, I'm not an elite player so what do I know. Sure, it's "just" two points, but it breaks concentration and generates frustration. Ueda could very well have gone on to win the match if it hadn't been for that bad call, despite that one may think he should have been able to recover more quickly mentally and not made so many unforced errors right after it happened.

The double hit was definitely the turning point of the match but an athlete should put it behind and focus on the match.

Some seeded shuttlers suffered early round exit yesterday, Jindapon (14th), Chong WF (16th), Blair/Bankier (12th), Kido/Bernadeth (8th), Hayakawa/Matsutomo (13th). Top contenders advanced smoothly to next round, two marathon MS matches between Son WH v Leverdez and Tian HW v Ueda who won by higher ranked player.

SN will not meet WSX, how is she going to get passed LXR. I think to get pass sayaka takahashi isn't an easy task.
