I don't see how Kido/ Bernadeth can continue to play together as a pair. They're both just too slow compared to world class opponents.

I want to know what went wrong for srikanth in the second game between srikanth vs iztok utrosa. Srikanth won the match 21-11 11-21 21-12.

Misha Zilberman - Ville Lang are having a very strange game right now. Going into the decider but lots of strange staredowns and mind games going on.

Not at all. Dont be judgemental. Derek, kashyap, guru, srikanth, weifengchong, rajiv ouseph etc are ver good players and a class apart to many good players here. May be they did not train harder after commonwealth games.

i felt it is too much talk about those CW games

maybe their opponents are strong too...why must it be "bad" preperation when they lose...

domke played very well for example..

Chong Wei Feng should have wrapped it up in two sets, instead he handed Ouseph a lifeline in G2 by throwing away a good lead early on, then went on to lose the decider interspersed by a number of unforced errors.

He also had a lead at 10-6 in the decider but went in 10-11

    -----------------------------------

Expected Tian Houwei to beat Ueda in 2 comfortable games but Ueda has changed his game up and taken it to a decider. Will be very tight, not sure who to favour

Tian Houwei was brilliant in the 1st set, suddenly lost his script in the 2nd. He has to learn to stay focused and keep piling on the pressure.

The momentum is with TU, clearly, not looking good for THW.

THW has to anticipate TU's net play better to have a chance of winning.

Yup, double hit by THW as shown on TV replay but not caught by the umpire.

Once THW gets the hang of TU's gameplan, it's easier for him to control or dictate the rally.

Beats TU at his own game, tight spinning net shot from THW wins the pt.

THW is stepping up the pace...but remember to maintain precision of shot-making, very important.
