2012 Malaysia Open SS: Fri 13-Jan (Quarter-Finals)

Danny bawa is quite complete as a XD player, power, placing, speed..but he is a little bit weak in defense...he is able to cover up neo well
 
i think the Singaporean XD lost because of the PA announcement... those announcements really annoy me....
 
I just realised that LCW might let Hidayat win to give him Olympic points? Surely his number 1 ranking is safe given he defeated Lin Dan at the Korea Open final and also Lin Dan lost early at the MO?
 
That was a terrible match to be honest for the MAS pair. The SIN girl was pretty mediocre or might be nervous, but I am incredibly impressed with Danny Bawa Chrisnanta! That guy SINGLE-HANDEDLY took on the MAS pair and nearly won themselves the game. However, he must also have been kicking himself for making the few errors (serving into net at match point, error into the net at the final two points)
CPS/GLY should be doing a lot of reflecting instead of celebrating for reaching the semi-finals, especially CPS, way off today. His low serves aren't steady too and opts for the flicks often.
 
Chrisnanta showed a ton of potential today. Never really took notice of him before, but he was excellent in this match. Save for the nervousness when they went into deuce, he's right up there with the best in XD today. He needs a better partner, really.
