Gillian's remark on LCW during his match with Taufik:
"I think he's had a bit of a hair cut since... winning the Korean Open... Lee Chong Wei."
and then, in a tone full of admiration, "looks very smart!"

No, it's just the typical Chinese never say die come from behind attitude. We see it a lot, should not be surprising by now.

Last week, Cai and Fu stole the huge paycheck from LYD/JJS at 4-11 down, so what's the problem with just 5 pts?

Indeed.....5 pts lead is NEVER a safe lead for INA standard anyway. We have seen many cases of INA players choking despite a huge lead.

The "never say die" attitude is something that the INA coaches need to instill in the younger players.

An excellent review by our dear abedeng as usual :)

Against the CHN pair, Towi/Butet have to start real fast and maintain the attacking tempo. If they lose focus or let the CHN pair into the game, it will be really costly as they had experienced it at the SS Finals. Total concentration please.....

I am not that sure either.. Qualifying to the Olympic seems more visible than Gold medal at OG2012...even if Kido / Hendra are able to get their best shape back, beating in form CY/FHF, LYD/JJS, MB/CM are very challenging tasks indeed.

They will become a very bad person if they pray hoping Bona/Ahsan or Alvent/Hendra injured :D
Kido is an elder brother of Bona Septano, while Alvent is Hendra's relative....

Or do you mean Ahsan & Hendra Aprida ? :p
