I love the way how LCW set it up to his 8th point in the 1st half of 1st game.

I saw the match again yesterday. The match was a lot better than I remembered watching live and LD did put up a good fight even on the 3rd set but a lot of careless mistakes.

Anyway looking forward to more fireworks this weekend.
I want Dato to beat CL in 2 sets with style like last year :)

Completely agree. LCW probably made about the same number of unforced errors as LD. The big difference is that LCW made many of his errors when it didn't matter so much (first set etc), while LD made many mistakes where it did matter a lot (second half of third set). LCW's mental game was superior to LD in this match, perhaps for the first time ever.

yes... at G3 when the score was 2:2, LCW did a cross smash which was the highest jump I have seen him done (in the past few years)... he was on fire after that rally... if he does that in OG2012, he still has a chance against LD...

Not really, not any more than usual. However his court coverage and his net play is a tad improved.

Watch Malaysia Open Final 2005. LCW scored at least 20 clean winning cross smashes in that match. He seems to have lost that ability?

I haven't read all the postings here yet, but in my opinion, the match between LCW and LD was not that spectacular. Could it be that both were too tired after the rounds before?

The men's double was incredibly exciting to watch. I really enjoyed that.
Does someone know what happened in the beginning in game 1 when the shuttle landed in but both teams complained? CY has dropped his racket by the way. What was the point to complain?

The mentality of the chinese were incredible. The strings which they've broken during the first game was terrible often o_O"

btw: does CY has a new racket?

Lin Dan didn't throw any matches - Chen Long and Chen Jin must have already qualified for London:D.

There seemed to be considerable difficulty when it came to attack... could be the Victor shuttles...
