Cai Yun/Fua Haifeng, Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae, and Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan are all in the top half.
It should be interesting and tough half...

Potential LCW v Chen Long QF - danger to LCW. The last time they met, Chen Long was making LCW work very, very hard with his aggresive play. Only unforced errors allowed LCW to win.

Let's see how far Firda can go this time.. As far as she doesn't face any CHN WS, i think she will have quite a bright chance. I expect Firda to progress to QF this time. If Firda want to cruise till QF, she need to beat Saina in Round 2 and Yip Pui Yin in Round 3. :D

I can already see one "upset" in the MS draw, Vittinghus to beat Hu Yun (16)

while there are some objections to it, by looking at it further, i think the byes do make sense.

it means that non-seeded players won't run into seeded players in the first round, and thus allow for more competitive games to be played in the first round.

On the contrary, KKK/TBH has it easy in the bottom half as compared to JJS/LYD, FHF/CY, and MK/HS in the top half.

Agree. I think it looks fine. Basically if you're unseeded, you play an extra round to have the privilege of playing a seeded player

The draw looks good to me. Evenly for all. ;)

MD will be either china or korea. Unless the danish can spring a surprise again.

Ladies and mx will mainly be a china affair. ;)
