haha, you're right about that. And yes I guess my early speculation about "feeling each other out" by CL and LD was off, this really is exhibition right now. I suspect at a certain stage they're "scripted" to come alive.
You go up against one of them and let me know after you pull your knickers up after a 21-5 thrashing (and they go easy on you)
Now the match has become more serious, 15-10 LD. Rallies are more aggressive. Did anyone notice that LD has a mustache ever so slightly noticeable? I've never seen him with one haha.
Oh, I really don't know abt myself... guess i m a badminton fan at most, and maybe por-CHN according to some BC labellers.... I m really confused about myself.... But beating Cai/Guo several times in the past was nothing great (like Cordon beat the old version CL)... I would only consider them real threats to the big guns when they beat some of these big guns in big occasions with really good performance like Cai/Guo this time..
It's interesting to hear GC and the male commentator go in circles on around why CL isn't trying hard. Three 3-set matches, being emotionally spent because his goal was to beat LCW, etc lol. Are they even allowed to suggest that CL is just scripted to play this way by LYB? Or I could be wrong, but it wouldn't be the first time.
Well things seem to be heating up. CL seems to be upping the pace of his game. 10-9 LD. Edit: Point right after was the point everyone was looking forward to. Now it's a real game. Good intensity. 10-10
I guess Lin Dan will let Chen long win this tournament , to give him more points to qualify for olypimics next year.
"womens singles is so passive. One of them will be in a good attacking position, and what happens? They do a clear to the back court! And why don't they do jump-smashes to get better angles on their smashes? Aren't women great at multi-tasking? Surely they can smash and jump at the same time." Get back to me when you can do better than either Saina or WYH in this department
