Yay! KOR XD pair LHJ/LYD advanced to round of 8. I was worried that they would have to play 3 set and tire LHJ before her WD game. But they were resilient and won 4 points straight to make tie at 17-17 and won 22-20 eventually. Surprisingly, all of the points from both pairs was from net, not even 1 from smash..anybody got to watch the game and know what happened? anywayz, great job, LHJ/LYD!

    As predicted, Devin/Lita lost to 4th seed Danish XD Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen, 9-21 ; 21-17 ; 10-21.

Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir beat their arch-rival Anthony Clark/Donna Kellogg 21-18, 21-11; despite struggling in the first set. They will meet the tricky Polish pair Robert Mateusiak/Nadiezda Kostiuczyk for a place in the last 4. Meanwhile, as expected, Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita lost to Joachim Fischer-Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen in rubber-sets.
