    >Sorry I did not see this earlier: But you have RECIEVED the actual ticket??

yes. i ordered thru ticketmaster and received them 10 days later.

    >I bought the $189s as soon as it was posted (preferred
    >period or whatever, directly, not to TMaster), they
    >charged my credit card, but no hard copy of a reciept, let
    >alone actual ticket!! All they say in emails is that the
    >email is my proof of purchase! Could lead to problems if
    >one changes residence, etc. Has anyone who purchased
    >tickets directly recieved them? What should I be doing?

this is what i heard from another guy i play with weekly... he called the ibf folks, who said:

for those who ordered directly from http://www.05worlds.com/ and had their credit cards charged, your tix will arrive 2 weeks prior to the event.

that's all i know for now.

    VIP ticket

I just check the 05worlds.com, there is some new tickets showing up. They are called VIP ticket. They are not cheap ~ US$200 each. They are only available for Session 7, 8, and 9. For all 3 sessions will be ~ US$600.
I just called Arrowhead Pond, and they said these are courtside seating. I am guessing the seat will be 20 ft away from the court. They are still working on the detail of these VIP tickets such as restaurant access, special perks, etc.
I think they will post more info on the website once all the details are finalized.
I am thinking courtside interference :D to cheer for your favourite player. Or, tatoo by the birdie. I wonder whether they will remove you from the seat if one causes too much problem.

    See you all in WC.

    tickets at the boxoffice

Are all the tickets (individual sessions, strip tix etc..) available at the box office? Is there no surcharge etc. if they are purchased at the box office? I was wondering if it makes sense to have someone go to the box office and try to purchase them?

    IBF 2005 Tickets

Because of schedule conflict, I and my friends cannot attend a few days in the competition. I have premium seats (Based on what I see on the chart, these seats are very close to the center of the action. You can check the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim seating chart to confirm)

I am selling these individual event tickets (Section 206, Row A) for less (at least 30% less) than Ticketmaster (who is charging $30 + service charge + shipping for such seats). I am not selling the tickets at a profit (in fact, I am not including the service fee charged against me).

I have three sequential seats (three sets of tickets). The prices are already discounted (my loss, your gain) and I will consider reasonable offers.

    ----------------------------------
    Ticket 1: Section 206 Row A
    Monday event: $21
    Tuesday event: $21
    Wednesday event: $21

If you buy all three tickets, I'll sell at a bigger
loss--$54 only for very good seats. Ticketmaster will
charge you $90 + service charge + shipping for such seats.

    Reasonable offers will be considered.

    ----------------------------------
    Ticket 2: Section 206 Row A
    Monday event: $21 each
    Tuesday event: $21 each
    Wednesday event: $21 each
    Thursday event: $21 each

If you buy a set of four tickets, I'll sell at a
bigger loss--$72 only for a very good seat.
Ticketmaster will charge you $120 + service charge + shipping for
    such seats.

    Reasonable offers will be considered.

    ----------------------------------
    Ticket 3: Section 206 Row A
    Monday event: $21 each
    Tuesday event: $21 each
    Wednesday event: $21 each
    Thursday event: $21 each

If you buy a set of four tickets, I'll sell at a
bigger loss--$72 only for a very good seat.
Ticketmaster will charge you $120 + service charge + shipping for
    such seats.

    Reasonable offers will be considered.

    ----------------------------------
Biggest loss for me, but BEST DEAL for you: If you buy
all 11 tickets, I'll give you the lot for only $190.
Ticketmaster will charge you $330 + service charge for
    such seats.

    Reasonable offers will be considered.
