Hmm, chong yee han from selangor advance to the semi final of both the BS and BD U16 ..his partner in BD is woon mun chun. Hope they can grab the title all the way!
maybe cyh/wmc can go final if they play well in semi final but to beat calvin ong/marcel in final i think its very difficult. but for sure its going to be a close match
Yang Li Lian took rubber to tame the gal who beat Yan Jia Lin. She will probably win the final too Loh WS also on course...
Badminton: Hong Kheng-Yao Han eye national call-up after storming into semis “Obviously, we would love to be in the national team as soon as possible but we know that we must first make the back-up squad. We are still young but we hope to be in the national team as that is what every shuttler aims for. “It is going to be a long, hard road but we are determined to succeed,” said the 18-year-old. Hong Kheng added he has another big target in front of him after the National Junior Grand Finals ends tomorrow. “I will go back to Penang to prepare for the Malaysia Games (Sukma) in Malacca next month. Unfortunately, I can’t continue my partnership with Yao Han for the Games as he is from Malacca,” said Hong Kheng. http://thestar.com.my/sports/story.asp?file=/2010/5/29/sports/6366139&sec=sports Kok Hau upsets Nur Azryn to reach semis Read more: Kok Hau upsets Nur Azryn to reach semis http://www.nst.com.my/nst/articles/43kuant/Article

wow wow wow ow/yew lost too bad goh sze onn injured before ajc if not we might have secured a ajc title if they perform well tomorow final hehe too early for me to go:crying:
They lost in a really close match. Must be a mouth watering match..anyway, hope CYH can win the title tomorrow.
the 1st step to improve is knowing u are not good enough if u thought u are good enough u will never train hard to improve hopefully they will wake up after this hehe and not to discredit tan/goh they are also a very good pair
Gze Onn is a cool player, patient and wait for chances credit to the pair for creating upset. On the other way around, this is a good learning lesson to our WJC, winning is only credit to those who work hard, and smart... one time champ is not forever champ, and champ is beatable.
yup too bad sze onn injured before ajc anyway do wee tat improved his attitude on court? bringing the hunger of success to a proper way?
i'm nt there... lol i just comment my opinion based on my impression on him. Anyway, he still go quite a lot of rooms for improvement. wee tat a, mayb he changed this time, or mayb not he has been like this since his bjss life right (everything like cincai cincai)... haha!
Ow YH & Yew HK are still very young. Winning the WJC this yr doesn't mean they will be the next KKK & TBH...still plenty (i mean plenty) of room for them to improve (yes, i saw them in action in this yr's WJC)..they can be called up to the national squad pretty soon and their career might flatten soon after..
but why only them? any particular reasons from your observations in last wjc that makes you say they can be called up by national squad? tan wt/goh so just beat them in this u18 gp semi final last night
Apparently Ow Yao Han has an elbow injury... But of course he also gave credit to his opponents for playing really well.
BADMINTON: Wei Sheng and Giap Chin in title fight “I didn't expect to reach the semi-finals as I'm more of a doubles player. I never played Li Lian before and didn't know what to expect. It was a tough game but I’m happy as I gave my all. “I’m using this tournament to gain more experience for the Malaysia Games in Malacca next month.” http://www.nst.com.my/nst/articles/BADMINTON_WeiShengandGiapChinintitlefight/Article Yao Han-Hong Kheng blame injury for exit “We train together quite often and this helped us to beat them. It was a tough game and we were lucky to have come out on top,” said Wee Tat. “Despite beating the world junior champions today, we are not taking anything for granted in the final. It will be another tough match but we hope to prevail.” Hong Kheng said he could not smash hard because of his elbow injury. “We could not move well. The court is also very hot but credit to our opponents for playing well,” he said. http://thestar.com.my/sports/story.asp?file=/2010/5/30/sports/6369017&sec=sports National Junior Badminton semi-final results http://thestar.com.my/sports/story.asp?file=/2010/5/30/sports/6369032&sec=sports ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ well i look the defeat in a positive manner where another good pair stolen the limelight no one say ow/yew is unbeatable lol
