It is only ss300 tournament but very decent line up, it is the tournament of some comebacks: Kevin Sukamoljo with a new partner, and Momota as well.

TPE has so many players! They outnumbered the host

TPE seems like having many budgets to send their players to many tournaments...

A lot might be independent players sponsored by clubs or private sponsors rather than the association

Good opportunity for momota to get ranking points. The top players are gonna be in japan, this might be a good warmup

The other opponents aren't that easy tbh, especially from SF onwards. His potential SF opponent, one was a junior Asian champion and won a S100 level title just last week and the other one is from China, and you can never underestimate a player from China regardless of the rank.

Kevin Sanjaya seems still have the adrenaline and hunger in badminton... partnering new with Rahmat,,,
they play well as of now vs lee/yang, 16-9 G1.

G1 a wrap for Kevin/Rahmat a.k.a. Keramat... Actually today would be a tricky match vs Lee/Yang MDs... but they seem to able to control the match and attacking momentum in G1.

the real battle will be in SF and Final...

if they are able to win this tournament, I think Coach Aryono will consider making this new partnership as long as possible.

Kevin/rahmat just lacks power imo, and neither of them have the stamina to keeps firing smashes from the back. skill wise I think they're good, the rotation is pretty good as well, but in todays MD if you don't have enough power or if you don't have persistence to work from the back is hard to win.
