Kim Astrup trying really hard to distract the opponents with his shenanigans. Ends up looking more like a wannabe Sukamuljo.

Yeah it’s being real annoying. Hopefully they lose today

Damn, Danes took it easily. Crazy if they win. Aren’t both guys older? Past 30? What’s with some of these older players with a resurgence. Prannoy, Marin, tty, etc (didn’t mention Hendra and ahsan cause they never resurged, just been great all the way thru lol)

Kim/Anders are on a roll,,, and some unforced errors from Korean pair as well, maybe nervous from the pressure of the crowd…

Kim/Anders play the best game of their life in this tournament,,, and they excel from the full support of the home fans. a favourite for gold medal now

They perform well under home crowd (some players might become nervous but not them).

usually older badminton players have more mature tactical skill from years of experience (and maybe some more shot selection/variation skill), and that may prove to be more important than all out power action in badminton.

I still stand by what I said, calling Kunlavut Vitidsarn, The Accident World Champion. And that doesn't necessarily take anything away from his triumph - you read a bit too much into my opinion.

By the way, let's not forget KV is still only 22 years of age, there's a long way ahead of him to develop his full potential, there's no knowing what he's capable of in the coming years; who knows, he might even transform himself into a totally different player in the near future.

Lastly, my earlier post also implied that Loh Kean Yew was another Accidental World Champion.

That cross court backhand net shot can possibly increase kang’s confidence significantly,,, and that can turn the tide for the korean pair… not a good sign for the danish pair

    11-7 interval for korea
