As @s_mair mentioned about the longer screws, for s90 when installing the raise disc, I used M8 x 35MM Flat Head Socket Cap Screws, and the length is perfect fit, as I've already tested with 40mm and 30mm. 40mm is too long and 30mm is too short, so 35mm is the perfect size. For the adapter plate and the Wise, you won't need to buy additional screws, as you can pretty much reuse the original screws. For t20, I suggest to check with @s_mair.
S90: fixed main towers for badminton rackets only T70: moveable main towers so you can string tennis, badminton and squash rackets with it if you want to The rest (clamps, bases, supports) is pretty much comparable.
Received my superstringer s90 and experience the same problem. I removed the turning mechanism and tested spinning without the heavy turntable connected and its very stiff (lots of lubrication didnt help) . Looks like imperfection with internal gear or ball bearings . My friend and i bought the same machine together and his is butter smooth. @Tennisman I have sent you email to the issue. Thanks.

Does anyone actually have acess to a user manual for the S90, I recently moved so I had to disassemble my turntable and now the 6 supports dont align Anyone else ever do something like this and fix it ?
Can you post pictures? And which parts did you disassemble? The user manual surely does not cover a complete tear-down discription of the whole machine.
Wow, you have disassembled the towers down to the side support arms? I think there was another thread in which someone had a similar issue which could be solved with a tip from @Tennisman. Sadly, I can't find it atm. So either he's going to take a look in here or best send him that pictures and ask for advice.
if you demounted the pole and mounted it in the wrong Position - inclined then you will have this result. Demounting the parts which i can see on you Picture is not a good idea. Have you dissasebled it now, beuqause you thought you can fix it here, or when you moved?
I have already moved so it has been disassembled , I have tried swapping the poles and the supports are still slightly misasligned
I have now managed to realign the supports , loosened the towers to allow minor adjustments to the angle of support. I placed a racket and adjusted the supports until it perfectly fit a racket and then very carefully tightened the bolts making sure to mantain proper grip over the racket. Hopefully this information becomes useful to anyone who ever has the issue as well
Hi I do around 1-2 rackets /week. Have strung 37 racket by now (50min/racket/2pice yonex pattern). I know that a WISE is overkill for me, but I do like toys... What are the pros/cons to upgrade from a dropweight to a WISE?
1-2 rackets a week would be major overkill to get a WISE, other than the speed which again is marginal if your efficiency in stringing is already good. Depending on your current machine, you may be better suited to get an upgraded drop weight that has nice features such as diamond clamps, auto swivel clamps, chudek supports, the works Sent from my ONE A2001 using Tapatalk
Hi My current setup is a Superstringer S90. I like that machine a lot. It is more about if I upgrade to a WISE, what benefit will I get? Pros Little faster than dropweight Diablo "nicer" to string? And more? Cons Expensive Needs power Calibration? and more ?
If it is an overkill or not is only on yourself to decide. A neutral outsider would surely say that you don't need it with 1-2 rackets per week, but what if you simply want it? I also do around 60 rackets per year and I haven't regretted that purchase at all. And if you earn ~10 EUR per string job, you will have your investment returned within a year anyways. Pros: - a little faster (only need one hand to grip and pull) - easier to get consistent results (position of bar and gripper doesn't matter anymore) - more features (e.g. pre-stretch, automatic self calibration) - more professional feel Cons: - money - needs power - machine gets noticeably heavier and more bulky neutral: - the resulting string jobs feel the same Hands down, a S90+WISE would be a killer setup that can easily compete with other machines costing two or three times the money. IMO, the WISE doesn't have any crucial cons. So in fact, the two big questions will be: Do you want to have it? Do you have the budget?
