That's a little much. Even if you call a shop in japan, pay the air mail and duty, it would still be way cheaper. And you would only have to wait maybe 7-10 days. cheapest i've seen is 16140yen which is around $180cdn most places sell it for around 18000yen though ($200cdn)
MarkinJapan is that really possible? because i want to get nanospeed8000 cooler i'd really like to know where i can find ns8k in calgary thnx
why not try out ALL the rackets from yonex first before u commit. The cheapest racket u paid is the one that fit you coz u only have to buy it once of course unless ur hooked on it and wanted a 2nd as spare PM me and i will let u try out all the rackets (from mp44 and up that is)
.... i've tried most of teh goodo rackets i have at700 and at800 of right now and i used to own at500 and mp22 and mp99 and cab 20ms so if you know where i can find ns8k can you just tell me lol
check out these 2 stores (what's your racket and calgary winter club) http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=14241&highlight=address
Woohoo! Back to the "Long" shaft! Can anyone with an NS8000 and an AT700 (or an ISO Ti) compare their dimensions and see if they are the same? Any word when this hits Bangkok?
Shhhh dun tell Mia Audina this, cos she would really utilise the longer length of the racquet (holding them as she does at the very end of the handle). That is gonna be her secret weapon at the next Olympics
Sure? I bought a NS7000 in Authority Sports shop in Yokohama, Tokyo at around JPY 17110 (after a discount of 20%):crying: . How can you do that? the original price is already around JPY 23000.
Managed to get two Nano 8000's for £104 each. The retail price was £159 minus a £25 discount on each racquet minus a £61 discount when I bought 2. So thats (159*2) - (25*2) - 61 = £103.50 each . Just had them delivered the other day and am going to try them out tonight.
blimey! that's a good discount! Where was that from? Maybe it's worthwhile trying to organise a group buy if there's enough people interested?
Yeah just good timing. I got the discount at http://www.directsports-eshop.co.uk. Unfortunatly they don't have the multiple purchace any more and the £25 is off anything else you purchace. So if you get one racquet you get £25 off another purchace. I was getting loads of shuttles as well so I just took the £50 off them. So you could argue I didn't get them for the price stated but thats only way I could justify the price .
Tried the racket last night and my preliminary impression is good, but not excellent I would say ... Mine is 3U G4 strung with BG68 Ti at 25 lbs. The racket is light and very manuverable. It gives very solid feel which imo, is something what NS7000 lacks. It's more powerful than NS7000, but definitely behind Armotec 800 OF/DF, as well as MP90. The racket is very good for overhead shot and net shot, probably because of its excellent feel and head light balance. Imo, it is somewhat similar to Swing Power SR or ISO 900 SR. However, if you are a hard hitter, there is no way it can match Armotec 700 or Ti-10, it is even not as powerful as MP90. I think it can be a very good racket for defensive double players - the racket is very fast with excellent control. But I really think it is overprice ... I heard rumor that NS9000 is coming, I wonder how much Yonex will sell it this time.
i have created a NS8000 section in the review. feel free to add to there if you have a first hand review of the NS8000. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=429&sort=7&cat=52&page=1 cheers.
I've never shopped at authority sports in yokohama. 20% discount is pretty average. Some shops offer 30%. www.futatabishoten.com that's the cheapest i've found. but I always shop local, pay a bit more, and reap the rewards with customer service and free swag. my shop is racket shop fuji in machida. Tell em mark sent ya http://www.rsfuji.co.jp/
I saw NS8000 (JP) at Luxis sport today!! I went to Luxis Sport today, they already have the NS8000 (JP). I'm so excited to hold it in hand !! The store people said that some of these stocks was ordered by someone already, it really a hot item!
Nanospeed 8000 in HK Where is Inskysport in Hong Kong? Lets say I'm coming from Ocean Terminal. Will I use the MTR in going to the shop? Thanks in advance for the info.
You can take the MTR from TST to Yaumati station and then walk to Rm 1304, Ho King Commercial Centre, 2-16 Fa Yuen Street, Mongkok. If you are lost just call 97879118.
